Bargain I spotted yesterday:
Boots have changed their meal deal to be "£2-99 or cheaper" rather than the 2 tiered one, but something must have gone wrong with their tills because I had the following deal:
Shapers Sushi £2.99
Diet Coke & Lime £0.95
Del Carrot Cake £1.10
Saving £2.05 Now £2.99
Shp Egg MAyonaise £1.10
(Incl previous Del Carrot Cake)
(Incl previous Diet Coke & Lime)
Saving £0.50 Now £0.60
Total to pay £3.59
This looks like the machine has included the dicount twice!
Happy eating everyone :beer:0 -

if you buy a shapers sandwich you get an extra 50p off at the moment thats all that has happenedit's a good deal though, and always feels better when you get something cheaper than you were expecting

For anyone wanting to know what shops have the ab toners contact Boots and they will let you know. One store beside me had 8 but were too lazy to put them out !- I felt justified to get it for nothing as it would never have sold anyway stuck on their store room !

Instead of my exercise plan (going out a lot, walking round - okay, often round the same store...) I think it's going to be the dreaded sort out and tidy up. I have a ridiculously compact bathroom and the only storage at all is a bit under one side of the sink, or round the edges in the airing cupboard.
I'm going to have to tackle the bedroom and see if I can free up a drawer - the airing cupboard is too warm for potions and lotions really.
I am also going to spend less - I may have optimised my money brilliantly, but the peripherals (bus fares, going for a coffee, buying bits to go with my discounts...) all added up.
We should probably start Boots Grabbit Bargain Part VI on Wednesday as well to clear the decks for new promotions.Do I Need One Stops All Unnecessary Reckless Spending£2 CSC - £30 :kisses3:0 -
To anyone feeling like they've taken Boots for a ride recently...
I was after some cotton wool balls the other day (probably only the second time I've ever bought them!) to apply all my lovely free TD stuff!
None in Boots (about £1.25 or £1.50 I think) so popped over in to Wilkinsons for the first time in ages. Picked up the same size bag for 30p - 4 or 5 times cheaper than in Boots.
Also needed a new "Shower puff" to apply cheap shower geland can remember paying about £2 for one of these in Boots in the past. In Wilko's, they're 39p each but currently on BOGOF - so that's the equivalent of 10 times cheaper than in Boots.
Boots have been taking their customers for a ride for years - we're just clawing a little bit back now. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
