    I went to Boots at Eastgate today (Bristol, next to Ikea).

    Got the ab toner for free, the gym bag for £2.50 and some hair dye reduced to 50p. No balls in stock so couldnt get my free one.
    For info I got the last ab toner and gym bag. Lets hope they get more in stock for everyone else.

    Took my mum with me to show her how its done.... she couldnt believe that the young SA didnt question the vouchers or the total price... havent converted her tho, says she hasn't got the guts :confused:

    Mummysaver - I live in Weston, am planning on meeting up with Burnham1 soon.... we will be able to set up our own mini MSE group!

    Hi Kit, was planning on a trip to Boots near Ikea tomorrow, so I hope that they have a delivery, else my abs will be forever untoned! (DH has just had a promotion so is in a v. good mood and for once isn't questioning why I need to visit yet another branch of Boots!)

    Be great to have a mini MSE group - anyone else around and lurking?

    I have visions of Boots bolting their doors as we approach!

    Oh help, I feel really bad now, checked the shopping from Boots this morning, and I got a black lipstick case with a mirror with some Pucca cosmetics inside, but on checking the Pucca stuff has a barcode too (4 little pots that screw together), I think that someone must have shoved them in the lipstick case to pinch them and then not done so, as the other case on the shelf was empty, and they were both priced at 62p, would have bought both but though that someone had pinched the contents from the empty one! Oops - another "great deal" from Boots!

    NB - Burnham1 was with me, so can vouch that I didn't have shoplifting tendencies!

  • hi all

    fantastic thread!
    This is my first post.

    I've taken boots to the cleaners on the TD stuff!
    I've 4 stores very near me so its happy days.

    I've a question to ask about the Capsule Gym Ball and how to get it for free.

    I have the lose weight starter leaflet (blue).
    It has the following:

    ->50 pts for slim fast bar
    ->Boots Ab Toner
    ->Tae Kwon Do Bag

    I have the get fit leaflet (pink).
    It has the following:

    ->Tae Kwon Do Bag
    ->Ab Toner
    -> Capsule Gym Ball.

    What combo do I use for the Ball?

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    I'm hoping to get an AB Toner and a ball tomorrow!

    Thanks :T

    In the Get Fit (pink) leaflet, there is also a voucher for "Save £5 on a Boots Capsule or Massage Gym Ball". Use the blue voucher for the capsule gym ball along with the one I have just mentioned.

  • I have just noticed that the blue vouchers (from the Lose Weight leaflets) have no mention of the "only one voucher can be used per transaction" rule. So if your SA is unwilling to put through one pink and one blue voucher, you could bring a spare blue voucher with you and argue that it does not say one per transaction. I'm not sure if the till would accept it but they could always deduct it manually. Does anyone know if they can stop you from using 2 blue vouchers in one transaction?

    if the till does not deduct it manually then really the SA is unlikely to override it manually without the say so of a supervisor.

    Managed to get some lovely EA Orange Blossom and Bergamot Moisturising Body Oil today - marked down as being reduced to £2, but going through till at £1.24, so only 24p with voucher.

    Am starting to get worried though - last night I had a very strange dream: I was the only one in my local Boots store, and everything had been reduced to just £1 and I had vouchers for money-off all stock! Perhaps we should set up a 'Self-help Group' board on MSE: 'Hello, my name's Frogling and I'm a Boots Bargain Loophole Addict.' :p
