Just happened to visit a Boots on the way home from work....picked up a couple of the DR hand sets. Wanted one to give away as a gift.....I'm sure I'll think of something to do with the other.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Have just had a very nice morning meeting up with another MSEer, mummysaver, to hand over some glitter babes bits and pieces I got for her, it was great to meet up with someone else who loves Boots and MSE.
I sent an email earlier in the week to Boots concerning the fact that my local store wouldnt let me get some TD hand cream when they were remerchandising the stands, and last night I got a reply, I also stated in the email that I did have a voucher to use and that I had already used a few vouchers, the reply was very interesting and said that I could use the vouchers as many times as I liked, in as many stores as I liked and on any price items, so it may seem that customer services are not issuing the 1 item per person rule, but each store.
After meeting with mummysaver, who told me our little store in Burnham had now reduced some TD items, I went in and got 2 things and went to the till, the SA said you cant use vouchers on these, so I told her about my email and said if she wanted I would go home and print it off, she said that the manager said this morning not to accept the vouchers on reduced items but if I had a letter from HO saying it was OK then it was, and she put them through for me and the till accepted the voucher no problem.
I got the body lotion and the face mask both priced at less than £5

Couldn't sleep very well last night so was planning out my gym ball raid strategy. Got another idea: to buy 'embarrassing' items in the same transaction (sanitary protection/condoms/pregnancy tests/etc) and choosing a young male SA. This is in addition to baffling him with a wide selection of vouchers. ;)

(Good idea to get a life, moi? :o )

haha! i finally found someone JUST like me!

Hi Burnham1 - great to meet you this morning - any other MSEers arounds Weston/Burnham area?

Glad that Burnham store let you get your goodies, nobody queried me yesterday when I handed over my vouchers there (one for me and one for dd2 - I'm trying to stick to one per customer!), if I get any problems next time I shall be asking for a copy of your email! ;)

    Hi there and welcome!

At the moment there are several vouchers in the Change One Thing Leaflets, most people are talking about the £5.00 one in the yellow/orange leaflet for money off Danielle Ryman and Boots own Time Delay skincare ranges. There has been a reprint without the TD discount though, so look carefully at the booklets. Lots of TD stuff was under £5.00, but much has now disappeared from the shelves, but it is still pretty good value, and some of the stuff is now appearing in the discount sections. DR is also on BOGOF, which helps to lower the price per item too.

Go back a couple of pages and you'll find a list of Essential Aromatherapy products that are under £1.00, if you use the £1.00 voucher in the lilac booklet it will deduct £1.00 from each item in the range that you buy (though if it is a 74p candle, it will only take off 74p from your bill).

People are also combining vouchers from other leaflets to get gymballs and abdominal toners for free.

All these vouchers expire on 31 January - so you need to be quick! ;)

There are other offers and various advantage point machine vouchers as well, the 300 points on No 7 skincare concentrates is the main AP voucher, as if the sales assistant is willing to put it through, it works with most No 7 stuff! :D

Think that these are the main bargains and freebies to be had at the mo.

    Good luck! :D

Oh, forgot that Glitter Babes is BOGOF and the party kits that are priced at £4.00 are going through at £1.00 each, and as they're BOGOF it works out at 50p each.

Boots has a 'change one thing' promotion on at the moment. For a frenzied few weeks people were able to use a voucher from a leaflet in store (now withdrawn) to get free Time Delay(TD) or Danielle Ryman(DR) stuff, as it was £5 off and stuff cost less than that. Boots realised what was happening( leaflets for sale on ebay, people getting loads of free stuff) and withdrew the leaflet and also, in most stores i think, stopped restocking the cheaper stuff.

In the other leaflets are various tokens which can also get free stuff, but not so reliably as some of the stores stock different things. There is a £1 off Essential Aromatherapy( EA) token in a lilac leaflet, which takes £1 off every aromatherapy product you buy, even if you get a lot. On last nights posts there is a helpful summary of the EA stuff that is free or cheap in some stores with the token. A similar thing happens with a gym ball where you can use 2 £5 tokens to get it free.Search for gym ball on the thread and you should find some info.
The promotion ends on the 31st anf there I still some hope that on the last day they might restock and there may be some good stuff then.
There are also some good reduced items which are also bogof which people are posting about.
So really you have missed most of the bargains probably, although it seems that some parts of the country have missed all the excitement so you could be lucky.

Skin Kindly is BOGOF too at the moment, I popped into my store, where a SA was busy reducing all non-xmas stuff on the clearance shelf to 50p/£1. Found 4 sets of SK minis-packs on the sale shelf, reduced to 50p, so 25p each - my bargain of the day!

Also got a couple of the orange candles - the SA couldn't believe they were free with the voucher and came and found me after (still wandering round in the relentless search for bargains) and got me to show her where they were - so she grabbed the last 2 for herself. Also found an EA Relaxing set reduced from £6 to £2, so £1 with the voucher.

There were plenty of the purple leaflets in this store today. Nothing in the TD range under £8.
