BrokeBrunette wrote:blimey, I never thought about that. I just knew I couldn't afford to spend £5 in the first place. I'm new to this moneysaving lark but I'm sure someone with more 'Boots freebie' knowledge could answer it. Let us know if you try it and how you get on. I'm seriously tempted to go back and try again now but it means a 20 mile round trip to get to a larger Boot store.
So you want Boots to give you back something you didn't give them in the first place? I think there's a word for that. :rolleyes:0 -
These ceramic hair straighteners are reduced from £19.99 to £6.79 on boots . com . Sorry I don't know how to post a link but they are under the offer of the week selection. Hope this helps someone.

I went into my local Boots today and they had loads of the Look Great leaflets. Trouble is, I think the £5 off DR/TD products has changed as on the voucher it shows DR but no mention of TD products at all.
Does anyone have any news on this?
I went in yesterday and bought the TD rejuvinating moisturiser (which seems to be v good btw!) with one of the "old" TD/DR vouchers i already had, as I handed it over, the sa said " u can't use this", i asked why, then she looked at it more closely, and said, oh yes u can, I thought it was just for daniel rhyman. So, although i've not seen any myself i believe that they must have reprinted. just as well we've stocked up eh!0 -

Appeal to Brummies - are they any Bham stores doing the reduced EA candles, pulse points gels and Grapefruit & Lime stuff?
Was in the High St/Union St Boots yesterday and they've got the EA Orange & Bergamot EDT reduced to £2, with the large bath essence (same fragrance) at £2.50. Didn't see any other EA bargains though - not fair!
i been to most in brum and couldnt find any EA bargains but im heading up to cardiff for the weekend so fingers crossed i may find some stuff0 -

Did well today went to Bath and to the southgate boots (one at the bottom of town)
I did two transactions. And managed to get 2 EA foot scrub gift set the first time around the SA said on they are cheap at £1.49 each and when I paid 98p for two she went bargain and the voucher has taken it off for both items. I went really
Second time around I spent £6.52 in there down from £15.52. As bought a TD item for £4 after voucher. And SA said it has taken it off all 4 EA products I had bought. I went your jokingSA said no. And then said nothing to do with me the till did so not my fault :rotfl:
The EA range has it own stand close to the make up. And they have lavender and cedarwood relaxing bathing powder (purple powder silver lid) huge tub for a £1. Umm free to me :rotfl: . And also a lavender and cedarwood relaxing body mask for £1.24 so 24p each to me. Some of the other relaxing range was cheap. Around £1.99 so with the voucher only 99p for a body scrub. So would be nice to make up a little gift set. Or for giving to a raffle etc. I only took two of each of the the powder and body mask and there was still loads left.
Also orange and bergmot perfume down to £2 only one left thought. Just want to know who had all the candles and pulse point thingys thoughas none there.
Not impressed with there reduction either still a little bit naff.

FINALLY got the yellow candles.
saw some in beckton galloens reach a few weeks ago but didnt like smell. told sis and she wants some for her candle collection. so i said id get more when i saw them next.
well Ilford (the BIG boots) has a new EA stand, so i picked up ALL (yes it was selfish but it was only 7, and im sick of constantly looking for hand cream and not finding it!) of them, went to till.... i bought some nappy bags with my points, gave the guy the candles ("wow thats a lot of candles") then the coupon, cue v v confused till guy who said i owed him nothing ("wow how did you do this... i must get some") i even managed to avoid the old battleaxe who hates me! unfortunately the till guy left my AC in the points thing so it's going to come up under my spending patterns!! not good...!
my store also has 'for the fairness of all customers, take only one leaflet' but i only need one EA coupon to get all 7 candles freeunfortunately everything is still labelled full price (including the yellow candle) so can some one tell me what else was cheap/free? i really liked the smell of some of the stuff but i cant afford it full price so any help would be thanked!
(ps not boots related but accessorize is now 70% off ALL sale stock, so umbrellas for £3 and make your own christmas cracker sets at £2.50):A Boots Tart :A0
