heehee, I study all my reciepts cos I work on tills myself! it's like a hobby (along with 'bootsing')

can be a bit iffy but USUALLY exchange for the full value, lots of hassle for £5 though - and it will depend on if you get a good SA!

Does anyone know if the Carlisle Boots has anything worth going in for and if the AC machine is working again? I went for my first freebie hunting trip last Friday and it was a complete disaster. AC machine out of order, no yellow leaflets, no TD stuff anyway, and only 2 bottles of reduced EA handcream - tried to use 2 EA vouchers and the till wouldn't allow them because they were reduced :eek:

I can't understand why in some Boots the tills allow the vouchers against reduced stuff and in others they don't - same as the gym balls - some tills let them go through and others don't - surely they must all be programmed the same.

Anyway, if anyone does know I'd be very grateful - as i don't think I can face another 30 mile trip with the end result another embarrassing failure! Thanks

Hi my Cardiff MSE buddy, have you tried this in Queen St, there is some right jobs worth SA's there and the one who I dislike the most I always seem to get, might give it a go

the tills will let the gymball vouchers got through it's the growllling sales assists who don't! I always say to them could you just try it for me cos my freind got one! heehee!
