    The pulse point is this:

the voucher is in the lilac leaflet and is £1.00 off anything in the Essential Aromatherapy range - the pulse points scan at 50p each.

thriftee I got knocked back once at my Boots with the gym ball, the sales assistant checked with a supervisor. The second time I kept the young assistant talking, she did query the two vouchers, but I got away with it! I don't want or need a gym ball, but there is something about getting something for nothing! Work are always raising money for charity so I will be donating it for a raffle prize or for them to sell.

So the first time, did they scan the gym ball and give you a total ? you then handed the vouchers to the SA who checked with the supervisor and refused to accept them ? did you just say you had changed your mind ? I am planning a gym ball raid on Monday once I have formulated my plan of action - thanks. :rotfl:

sorry but what's the gym ball deal?
  • Hiya Myrtle, re: Gym ball, Several people have successfully combined vouchers from the change one thing booklets (lose weight blue and the pink get fit leaflet) in order to get a free gym ball or abdominal exerciser. In theory it's not allowed, as it's one coupon per transaction but in practice the till takes both.

The gym ball costs £10, so by using the 2 £5.00 vouchers in the booklets you get it free but if the SA is checking the vouchers, you will probably find they both won't be accepted by the SA - worth a try though !

  • Not trying to sound too nitpicky but I think the vouchers were in the Lose Weight (blue) and Get Fit (pink) booklets.

I'm planning a gym ball raid, too, LOL :)

My plan is to go in at the weekend, when there's lots of young blokes on the tills, and try and buy a few different things with lots of extra points vouchers etc (I think I'm still getting offered extra points for EI, plus just had a voucher for Botanics in the post and they're BOGOF) so that my poor victim is going to be so confused by all my vouchers he's bound to just beep them all through... I hope! :p
