  • The oh banned me from going into Boots last weekend with my vouchers - said i had enough and let someone else have a turn.

Benn into Boots on my way home from work today and saw a couple of boxes of hand cream tucked away from the main Time Delay display. So off i went - 3 different tills, 3 boxes of hand cream - two of the SA's were really impressed it was free. So i pointed them in the direction of the leaflet stand which was loaded with all colour leaflets.

People may know this already so sorry in advance if its common knowledge..... SA in Weston today told me that they have deliveries daily which can include reduced items..... so if your store does not have reduced EA or xmas stuff today, they may have tommorow.

I was wondering why Burnham1 always got stuff I couldnt find.... she must get there on days I dont!!

    Hope that helps someone.

I have got loads of TD products free but i have not looked or read about the
EA products on here so dont know what the deal is.

My reason for posting is that in boots great yarmouth today I notice a good few EA products reduced, dont know if that helps anyone
  • I am chuffed that so many people have managed to get a free abdominal toner. I didn't think it would work at first, so I am really pleased for everyone who has managed it. Has anyone seen any Boots stores in Essex which stock it? Thanks

You know what I am "thinking" about doing the same thing, but knowing my luck I would be sussed and the SA would talk really loudly about not accepting the voucher, everyone would stare, a massie queue would form behind me and I would go beetroot ! I really fancy the gym ball for £10 that burnham1 got free using 2 vouchers.

Mind you, I'm fairly new to Boots AC and I have realised that sometimes if I print a few AC vouchers off but do not buy the items, the SA will scan them through but, other times they read the voucher and check my items as though I am comitting a crime !! I think it depends on the SA. Good Luck though and post so I know how you get on. I might go and try it on Monday.

I got the gym ball yesterday, young girl on the till in the evening (out of town store opens until 8pm) didn't seem to notice what coupons I gave her, put through a couple of EA products too with the voucher for them and some pantyliners - just so I actually spent some money - didn't seem to notice I'd knocked £12 off my shopping - was glad there were no supervisors about though. My plan was if the girl said no I'd just say no thanks then and leave it all nothing I was desperate for. Quite glad it worked, just didn't realise the gym ball would be quite that big - havent pumped it up yet - saving that for the weekend.

(oh and my complaint for poor customer service after a reduced product sticker was with a slightly different version of a product- unrelated to this offer - has resulted in the offer of a £10 giftcard from Boots - pays to complain :T )

In the Destress Booklet (purple) there is a voucher for £1 off the Essential Aromatherapy range. If you can find any products which are under a pound, you can get them for free! :j Also, you can just hand 1 voucher to the SA and it will take £1 off EVERY EA item in the transaction.

thriftee I got knocked back once at my Boots with the gym ball, the sales assistant checked with a supervisor. The second time I kept the young assistant talking, she did query the two vouchers, but I got away with it! I don't want or need a gym ball, but there is something about getting something for nothing! Work are always raising money for charity so I will be donating it for a raffle prize or for them to sell.
  • My husband huffs and puffs all the way round the store and moans like a little child, he waits for me by the exit when he knows i'm going to the till as he thinks i'm doing something I shouldn't be. I meet him outside with bags full of goodies and a huge smile on my face as he peers inside the bag I say "Honey it was all free" and he says "well go back and get some more then!!!!"

    Men, they make me laugh

I thought i was the only one :rotfl: My OH doesn't come into the store and will ring me if i have been in there for more than 3 minutes. When i show him all the bargains and points he doesn't complain anymore..

They had some in Lakeside a couple of weeks back downstairs by the till area as well as other gym equipment.
