Went up to a boots yesterday and didn't find any of the Xmas stuff reduced even further. Was a little bit disappointed, but never mind.

I still keep wondering whether my local Boots has tons more sale stock to go on the shelves. Loads of the aisles are still devoted to reduced Xmas stock and they've got a lot of empty shelves too. (Looks quite a mess to be honest.)

Their great big "Skincare movearound" involved moving everything 2 feet to the left :D so am intrigued at what they're gonna fill all the spare shelves with.

I had to take my car into the garage today, and as it is just round the corner from one of the Canterbury Boots, I persuaded DH to stop for five minutes. All the TD products had been put into boxes, as well as everything else from that row of shelving. However, they had forgotten the handcream, and there was just one left! Yay! :D

Hope to check out the one downtown tomorrow.

    All the best,

    Serena.

Forgot to mention earlier - used my Toni & Guy wax stick today from their recent "2 for £7" offer. Possibly one of the daftest and most user-unfriendly products I've ever bought.

Imagine using a roll-on deostick to desperately apply hair wax directly on to your hair. Very difficult to apply it exactly where you want it, too much goes on where you don't want it and the thing is a hard sticky wax so pulls on your hair as you use it. Also is fairly hard and heavy and actually uncomfortable to apply.

On the plus side, smells nice! :D

Anyone thinking of trying this though, I wouldn't bother.

As for the DR range I think the Taramind Anti-Ageing Hand Creme is great, prefer it to the TD one! £9 BOGOF so not too bad if you use the voucher.

I also lurve the handcream. :D It smells strange and yummy at the same time.

It's true that a lot of the DR range is a bit weird - the Face Sorbet is really perculiar, it's a clear gel with bits of beeswax in that are really hard to massage into your skin (and no SPF, as far as I know). The face mask is very clay-ey and difficult to apply/rinse off.

But I'm addicted to the bodywash (Lavender and Citrus) and the facewash (honey and avocado) - I've got quite funny skin, and a facewash that cleans without leaving me feeling dry is a bit of a find.

The spot gel-wand is also pretty good, and the rescue balm, although I've lost mine which is annoying.

Would love to try the eye cream, but at £16 (even with 2 for 1s and discount vouchers) it's a bit of a risk, I don't want to make the mistake I did with the face sorbet again...
  • Braved Boots with my two little ones - not a great experience and I don't think they left much on the shelves. Rather than browsing I spent most of my time clearing up after them! However, I did manage to find two Time Delay starter packs tucked away on a Clearance shelf for only £5.99 (were £9.99). It is only a tiny Boots so worth looking out for these elsewhere.

    Happy hunting

Cheltenham High Street were restocking their DR shelves today, so grabbed two of the handcare sets, then wandered up to the EA shelves. They had Balancing Gift Boxes out on the shelf, but no SEL to show the price. Took it up to a till to ask for a price-check - 62p! There were only three on the shelf, so grabbed them all and used the EA £1 off voucher, so got them all for free! I'm sure they'll be in other stores too - they are a shiny green box with an elastic bow on top, and contain a Balancing Bath Essence 75ml and a Balancing Body Lotion 50ml. For 62p, you can't really go wrong!

Upstairs in the store on their clearance shelves they had some photo albums that you print yourself. They were reduced from £19.99 to £7.49. Went to pay for one with points, and it scanned through at £3.74. Went back and grabbed two more - thought they would make nice pressies, because you can adjust the layout yourself, add text, etc. Hope they are as good as they look on the packaging!

The orange leaflets in Cheltenham (lots of them by the pharmacy) still have both DR & TD on the vouchers. Got a couple more of them 'cos my mum is coming for the weekend and she wants to get some TD stuff. Happy days! :)

No yellow leaflets in leeds or anything under £8 on TD...I did notice though changing the subject that the white DAB radio which was £109 before xmas is now marked up at "was £179 now £169 and now sale" £109.....erm it's not been reduced at all it was £109 to start with
