Had me laughing too. I'm going away for the weekend so will keep my eyes open for other Boot's stores with bits that I 'need'.

I'm off on my first freebie shopping expedition to Boots - have read all the threads and wrote all the offers down - think I'll get in a right mess though trying to remember it all! Haven't got any vouchers or anything yet - will go and see what leaflets there are and what pops out of the machine - haven't used it before!

After reading the last post about about the stroppy SA I'm feeling very nervous and worried I'll be marched off by a security guard!!

Sounds like I'm probably a bit late for most of the offers but I'll go and have a go - got all my jobs done last night specially so I could go into town today and visit Boots! My family think I've gone mad since discovering this site!! Wish me luck ...

Boots in Northampton has NEVER had the DR stuff on BOGOF - at least its not marked as such, but yesterday I tried asking at the till and they said that it was, so I got 2 of the hand care gift sets, £8.49 each, BOGOF, then used £5.00 voucher so £3.49 for the 2. Put 1 up for mother's day. Its a bit mean not marking the BOGOF - the only reason I thought it might be was reading all the posts on here (and it is in MK stores).

No aromatherapy stuff to be found under £2.00 though...:(

Hey! I'm at Bangor uni. I've been in Bangor Boots three times since the Td promotion started and there have been no TD under £5.50. Have you been to Bangor Boots? It's the only one I can get to :( x

I have also been to Bangor Boots 4 or 5 times and nothing, I did manage to get 2 packs on 6 January but the assistants already knew about the promotion. I think they are getting them all, unless they have been told not to put them out.

I don't think it is mean I think it either 1) laziness (not meant as a slurr as I know retails is a nightmare job and one I would never do)
    2) they where not sent the labels to fit over the shelves.

Because just before christmas Natural Collection was on BOGOF it was on the website and in other stores but not my local one.

I was in there when a woman was buying just one bottle of the Natural Collection and the SA went "you can get another one for free".

So the SA's knew it was on offer but there was no sign up to say so. And in my little local shop the red signs that say there are offers are never in front of the items that are on offer. But there is always seems to be enough staff wondering around.

Also if you buying any Botanics christmas range of the scrubbie and two jars of stuff gift box. Be aware there are two lots. I over heard this the other day as two memebers of staff where talking about it.

It seem the older stock is coming up as £5 but the ones that where stocked for Christmas where coming up as £2.50. Even one of the SA's said that makes no sense the older stock should be cheaper to shift and the other SA's agreed

Don't feel nervous even my mum who is not very forthcoming did a TD transcation with a voucher and item costing £5.

I bought some chewing gum costing 33p and a TD hand cream so it cost me 33p. So I did give them some money. Not very often but on the off occasion I do. :rotfl:

I have been really lucky in my area as either 1) no really knew about the offer
    2) was no interested

Even the SA's seemed a little surprised and shocked in the local 4 boots I used. As they don't seem to have anyone using them. And rather than saying you can't have that they have commented on what bargains I have gotten.

If you are really worried then pop a couple of extra items in your shopping. Just some cheap things like Female monthly ware as that is 99p and on BOGOF. Which is what I did the other day.

  • thanks to a tip off on here yesterday checked out my local boots for TD stuff, very little for under £7 ( 1 item) so checked out the handceam section and bingo 3 hand creams :D loads of leaflets in stockton, SA asked me to get her some before they all went!!! :D
  • Sorry if this has been answered before but went into boots yesterday and DR was on BOGOF so picked up two things at £10 each. Got my two products and two £5 vouchers (along with other bits) and the Sales Assistant said the vouchers wouldn't go through as they couldn't be used in conjunction with any other offer. As I had been at the desk about 10 mins as there were loads of problems with BOGOF's not going through and I had a screaming baby, I just said OK and left it.

When I got home and checked the voucher there is no mention that they cannot be used in conjunction with other offers. Does anyone know if this is correct? If not will go back and stand my ground!

Oh, no TD stuff at all under £5 as apparently someone went in and cleared the shelves of it on Friday with about 30 tokens.

    Thanks :)
  • :D as they were bogof you would only be able to use 1 voucher not 2 as its 1 per transaction HTH :D
