Still leaflets in my local one.

They had no TD hand cream and assumed that they just did not have it in checked the TD area and the handcream cream as well.

Today go in they have loads of boxes on the reduced stand down to £2 a box. I was very tempted to get 3 as it is 3-4-2.

So £2 X 3 =£6 -£2 =£4 and then use a £5 voucher so 3 in one transaction for free. But chickened out. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also had lots of skin kindly and Boots body science items reduced but they are BOGOF so not sure of the BOGOF would have worked.

  • Yesterday, went to Cardiff Bay Boots, they had at least 30 items reduced in the DR range. So I went to the till with 3 vouchers. I was REFUSED, basically they said that because the item was reduced and therefore on offer I could not use my vouchers. Additionally, the SA said it was one item of DR/TD only per customer.

I phoned CS Boots today, and asked them if this was correct. They confirmed that the store is correct and that if the DR range is reduced it is ineligible for any offers, such as the change one thing promotion. She said a BOGOF offer is also excluded from this promotion.

She said the policy is one per transaction and advised me to go in and out of the store 3 times, to get the 3 items I wanted but she said don't look at the reduced ones or BOGOFs as I could not use my voucher.

This seems different to what other people are posting ?

Called into 3 boots stores in Bolton today, searched all around but no leaflets to be found at all, but the selves had been cleared of most td products :(

consoled myself with a load of half price stuff and a stack of reduced no17 makeup for my DD's, cashier wasn't best pleased tho at the amount i had and she had to key each one individually, silly woman kept shouting over to all the other assistants (have ya seen all this stuff she's got ?)

I think they seem to be making it up to be honest as in one store they had a few reduced TD items and took a few last night, which the SA said was fine. My OH took some of them through this morning and was fine, but when I went back on my way home I had three items to go through and she made a comment like 'you've done this before' and disappeared to the back to check with her manager. She then came back and said you can't use it on reduced items, and they had 'made a mistake' I just think she was being a jobsworth as doesn't say this on the T&C's.

Well another reason for chickening out was that I was 100% convinced that my husband had a hand cream tucked away in his pressie box for me. He said no it is not that size box in the shop.

Got home and said have a look. Had a look, could not find it in pressie box. So pulled out the boots receipts that I have and said look I have 4 of them for hand cream but can only find 3. The one I am using at the moment. The spare and the one in my pressie box for mothers days. He found a bag underneath his bedside cabinet with it in :o Silly man. I was right and he was wrong

But do agree with your wife it makes my hands lovely and soft and they have not felt like that in years. But it could also be due to the fact that I keep it next to laptop so it gets put on a few times a day.

I think that I am about done with this promotion and it has saved me a arm and leg with all the nice creams and potions and lotions to put on my face.

As someone else said it so nice to have nice things be it skin care or bubble bath shower gel etc for nothing or next to nothing. There is no way on this earth I could have afforded to buy all this stuff. And would have to keep an eye out for cheapie stuff. Even if I don't look younger my skin has never felt softer.

But I am now worried about what happens when I run out later in in the year :rotfl: So I better make is last :rotfl:

    Yours

    Calley
