If you thank someone your "name" appears at the bottom of the post.
Hope that helps.

Hi Pudding, were the DR nail sets with the other DR items (i.e. near tills in middle of store)? I haven't managed to spot them! The Wheatley Hall Road store has TD stock but no hand cream.

Went into my local boots today and they had nothing left for under a fiver in fact the cheapest they had was £8 stuff. I had a good hunt around and found that they had put the TD handcream with all the others and there were quite a few left. So gave my mum a voucher and the box and sent her on her way to the till while i got another box and some other bits. She was so chuffed that she got to try it for free although she kept saying "they cant be giving you it for free!!" :rotfl:
I'm off to Lincoln tomorrow - not just for TD stuff honest!and wondered if anyone had been in there and if they had a good range of stuff (really wanting the toner to make up some mother's day gifts for me (from 3 ds),mum and m-i-l) or if the DR stuff was reduced ???
Our two other smaller branches had loads of leaflets left but if staff are removing the cheaper stuff not sure if anyone will want these vouchers ??Brendan's new dance partner...please0 -
theyre still all up in arms eh? they dont know what thyre doing giving away all this stuff! haha!:T The best things in life are FREE! :T0

banana1975 wrote:Thanks for the new thread - Perhaps we can hunt out some new offers. Apparently there are some starting tomorrow so the rumour goes!
Hi - I am fairly new to MSE so please forgive me if I am saying something you already know! I used to work at Boots head offices in Nottingham 8 years ago in marketing and although many things have changed since then, some things might be the same! Reading the message above from banana1975 reminded me that Boots promotions are organised by 'sales plan periods' and are generally a fortnight long. If you are in store and see a shelf edge ticket you can work out the dates of the current sales plan period by looking at the tiny text at the bottom right hand of the ticket. It usally has a load of numbers and somewhere in it will be two dates with a dash between them eg 14/01/06-31/01/06. It's useful to know how long a promotion is on for if you want to return for more, or when the sales plan period ends so you know when to come back to look for new promotions if you can't get to the store very often!0 -
I used a £3 hair voucher today. One on Trevor Sorbie 'body & bounce' 250ml shampoo & 75ml 'everyday shampoo'.
250ml reduced to £2.50p & 75ml reduced to 70p, so paid 20p cash for the 2.............so it worked for me on a miniture. Mind you the SA spent about 15mins reading T&C's, so it was her fault if she took it!
LLWe are all in the gutter but some of us are looking at the stars........................0
