DWP employment waiting list

that is terrible this is really no joke. the best thing is they are still advertising for eo/ao jobs on the dwp website. what freeze surly they should stop at the beginning of the process if there is a freeze on. lets hope that the end of oct brings some good news to all waiting.
I did ask the lady why are they still advertising on their website if there's a freeze....she didn't know.
I did ask if there was anyone higher up the chain I could contact to voice my concerns & the concerns of us all.....she didn't know.
All I can say is keep applying but also keep applying elsewhere too.0 -
To all those who have been following my posts re interview today (non DWP)
I GOT THE JOB!!!!! and start on Monday, we can have a xmas and i can now get excited.
I just wanted to thankyou each and every1 of you for all ur kind words, best wishes and the laughs u have given me, these things have really kept me going, I am still hoping the DWP will phone (u dont get rid of me that easy) but if they do i will have a tough decision to make, but for all those others waiting, good luck keep strong and support each other as sometimes all people need are kind words or a bit of help to make them feel worthy again.
like u all did for me
thanks every1:j:T:j:beer::T

I feel like the elder statesman on this thread, lol. When I 1st found this forum I couldn't believe the amount of time people were waiting. I thought they were just unlucky or were on the 'waiting list'.....little did I know what was in store :eek:0 -

.
I've applied for an AA post too. I thought the same as you as everybody on here seems to be either AO or EO. I mentioned to somebody in my job centre that I had applied for an AA position and he said he wasn't aware anyone was taking on anybody for AA positions. Weird!
Stupid question, but what is the difference between a BDC and a job centre?0
