GRC is good as a tester. But ALL firewalls have ways in one way or another (Which is why theyre CONSTANTLY updated (If theyre any good that is)):idea:0 -
This might seem an odd thing to ask. But can you point me to a webpage that does that? Its just ive been on countless known 'dodgy' pages and never once has noscript let me down.
Noscript certainly stops redirects too.
Trend Micro were themselves victims. It's done by using an iFrame injection:

An interesting article pretty much saying software firewalls can be an utter waste of time:

Correction: what a load of mostly anonymous pseudonyms think of Steve Gibson, with rather less objective analysis than they decry in him.
I wouldn't set too much store by their allegations that Gibson's remarks on Zone Alarm were corruptly instigated by John McAfee, as Gibson's favourable reviews seem to start well before McAfee actually had any interest in the company. And even when he did invest in it, it wasn't in his sole ownership, as they lazily hint; would they dare to therefore suppose Intel to be equally corrupt? And is Gibson solely responsible for the popularity of Zone Alarm? Nonsense, most of its users have never heard of him.
I'm not saying Gibson is a hero at the centre of the universe, but what a load of overblown and distorted guff, and all of it 3 to nearly 9 years old, by people still celebrating finding an issue in ZA years ago, and making unprovable accusations that weren't connected to quite the same issue anyway.
As for the usefulness of software firewalls, it may be that the one on this particular PC is redundant at the moment, as the log shows no activity since August; perhaps the hackers haven't discovered this ISP's IP ranges yet.0 -
