Avast does most, noscript does the rest
define 'drive by exploits'
Firefox 3.05 fixed 3 in Firefox. Basically, you could visit a website and injected code would allow a file to be placed on a computer and then executed. In short, you could be infected merely by visiting a site. As it wasn't done by a script, noscripts doesn't protect you.
Re-directs are quite bad. NOD32 has blocked a few where sites have tried to redirect to yahoo-analytics.net and google-analytics.net which, whilst they appear legitimate as yahoo/google-analytics.com exist , are actually sites which try to load 5 sets of malware onto a PC.0 -

Do you have the preview pane open in your email client?0 -
Well I use AVG, have Malwarebytes and use Sygate firewall, but most importantly I control my browsing habits and dont visit any unknown sites
You don't need to. With the current raft of MS SQL and MySQL exploits, enough legitimate sites have been compromised that you don't have to be visiting dodgy pr0n or warez sites to get caught out.0 -

This might seem an odd thing to ask. But can you point me to a webpage that does that? Its just ive been on countless known 'dodgy' pages and never once has noscript let me down.
Noscript certainly stops redirects too.:idea:0 -

ALL known tests? it doesnt (try google!)
Also, Whilst PCTOOLS does infact fail GRCs test, its only on the PING. It doesnt actually 'let anything through' (In fact EVERY port is stealthed):idea:0
