Can the £1000 come from another account, or does it have to come directly from your employer? (only getting £400 odd as on maternity leave, but have a few thousand to 'play' with!)"I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0

As long as you pay in 1K a month they dont care where it comes from.0

Husband has main bank account with Barclays and I am also on the cheque book, so I guess I'm not eligible, even though I don't have an account with them in my own right? Any ideas?0

I have just applied and it says they will conatct me if successfull up to 4 days.......
just a thought
If I and partner open account, I could credit one account from another bank (lose 4 days interest) and then transfer to partners account instantly, and then move £1000 out next day...........
might work ....... :-D thoughts welcome.....£200 here we come0 -
this looks good - all for freebies and chasing loopholes. I wonder if anyone can help with my query though?
First i can't find indo on barclays website, but as a student, will I be eligible for this account?
Secondly, i can deposit the money using a credit card - but never done this kind of transaction before. Is it possible, and ho would I go about doing it.
Cheersr.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
A quick question:
- how would you get authenticated by them? I do not want to send my passport or driving licence via the post and they ask for originals and not photocopies!
Would they accept a visit in their local branch for authentication and document checking? Or is this 'online offer' not contemplating the personal checks of documents?0 -
Web site seems to be working fine as of ten minutes ago. Any thoughts as to whether husband and wife could apply separately (same bank, different account no.), for two lots of £100?0
