ds2 has so many new toys he doesnt quite no what to do with himself, and ds1 not helping as taking toys off him to play with (even though he has got a new game as a pressie too) and has already had to have "time out" in his room this morning!!!!

(really dont know where he gets his energy from)

payday again in 2 weeks but seems to a long month this month, need, need, need to get listing on ebay!!!!!!! does anyone know if there are any fre listing days of anything coming up??? if its free it might spur me on to list as much as possible.

  • I am still here and reading but not much going on my end as its the end of the month. Just waiting for OH's overtime to come in and that will take the egg1 card under £1k!

and then it will be my payday soon!!!! so can make a small overpayment. Will find out hopefully how much my childcare will be next month by the end of this week, not sure if the car payments start next month, if not then will put the extra we would have paid to the egg1 cc. thinking it will only be £100 or so but still, its £100 off the total!!!!

Think i am going to keep a tally on my grocery spends next month and may even rejoin the grocery challenge. need to feel like i am doing something towards my debts as hate feeling useless at the end of the month.

righht, am off to go and make the mince for tonights tea.......always tastes better when reheated!!!! bit like stew!

hope your all ok and dont have the end of the month blues too....

Not so much end-of-the-month blues but just waiting for maintenance from ex before I start juggling money round.

I completely understand re: car, we've had a similar conundrum with car my dad bought for us we only used for a month and it died, potentially will cost near enough same as dad bought it for to fix. We've managed to scrap two cars in past two years and had to sell one on for spares and another is sat in bits on my dad's back yard - that's what you get for buying 'cheap' cars:eek: OH wants to do what you've done and get one on finance but I've said no - however reading your situation has got me thinking now!

    £100 towards card is good!

  • Hey smarties, its a mondeo st!!!! all black and shiney!!!!!! eeeeeeee, 2 more sleeps.

Well i have been a good little wifey and been batch cooking after trundling over to the old style board. Thought we had no food as such in the freezer but have defrosted loads of meat (mainly chicken) and have now got loads of meals out of it!!!! am quite impressed with myself really. have a few more recipes up my sleeve but need some different meat. found stuff that we were having for one meal will actually do us for 2 (like our tikka and sweet and sour) as long as i do a little more rice/naan with it.same with the other meals, just need to bulk it out with veg and potato............................dont know why i have never thought of this before, and now the boys (OH included) can eat good meals when im at work. This should also mean that i can put off filling the freezer for another week.

its strangley pleasing seeing all the foil trays and dishes neatly stacked up in the freezer.................................................this could become a new obbsession:o
