not looking good on the cat front, people have seen a cat very much like mine at the side of a road nearby..............................after being knocked over. :( am actually quite upset really and just rounds off my bad month really. ds1 keeps asking where he is too. least the driver or some kind person moved him to the side of the road and not left him in the middle.
part of me keeps expecting him to be waiting for me as usual when i get in from work (used to wait on the front door step) not sure if we wont another cat though................its never the same is it??

hope everyone else is having a better time, i am getting a bit fed up of being knocked down so much but as ever i will rise above it and come out the other side smiling. as i say to everyone else, what doesnt kill us makes us stronger.

    normal service will resume, again..................

  • Big hugs to you rags, am so sorry to hear about your cat. Maybe it isn;t yours that's been in an accident? I know what you mean about replacing pets, it's so hard, they're like part of the family.

Am glad to hear you're trying to rise above it and stay positive tho - I really hope things work out for you, and that August turns out to be a million times better xxx

big hugs rags - as they say it never rains it pours, hopefully it wasnt ur cat and he ll come home soon x
  • Still no sign of my cat so have resigned myself to the fact it was my cat and given all his food and biscuits and stuff to my mum for her 2 cats..........................

still under my black cloud but the sun shines through occasionally, my fella actually looked at our soa on saturday and i think it shocked him as i totalled it up for a 4 week month with my wage being a basic 33 hours per week. came out and said we would have £20 left over, which he spends on coffee!!!! lets see if it works but im not holding my breath..........................

the meal plans not going so well as my fella doesnt stick to it!!! so gonna use my whiteboard to write our soa on and debts on and put it in our bedroom somewhere. passion killer, yes, but at least he will see it everyday and hopefully not by coffee/snacks/anything from the garages. There really in no excuse for him not taking a flask to work, he boils the kettle for his brew in the morning!!!!!

Me and him not getting on so well at the moment. He slept on the sofa last night as i wasnt talking to him.
We went to a christening yesterday which was all his friends (i talk to all the "wives" so not so bad) and as soon as we got to the party, he gave me a drink and left me with the kids (ds2 was playing up as he was tired/hungary/too much going on) and went to the other side of the room and sat with some of his mates. he sat with me for a total of 5 mins whilst he ate his food (i had to get someone else to get mine!) and then wouldnt take ds2 for 10 mins whilst he went back over to talk to some more people! Everyone kept asking if we were ok?!?!?!?! he doesnt understand why i was mad with him as "thats what he has always done". was i being unreasonable to feel second best??? and to be mad with him???? (this is just the shortened story, there was more like him having someone elses kid on his knee when he wouldnt take ds2...........) major barney followed at home once he got it out of me what was wrong.

think i give up, enough is enough and i have had my fill of carp these past few weeks. starting not to care anymore..........................

Hi Rags you have had a right carp time of it, you need to sit your hubby down and give it to him with both barrels (NO DONT SHOOT HIM!) tell him how angry you are with him not only for what he did to you but the fact that he needs to support you more with the debt busting you cant do all this on your own.....dont be like me and put up with it for 20 years coz thats how long i kept dealing with it until I gave him the ultimatum he either helped me or went !!! lucky for him he changed we have been married 29 years now and i wish i had sorted things at the start....good luck and keep your chin up xx
