I dont think you were wrong in any way – its a family day out and not just him with mates and you with the kids!! My DH has also done things like this before! Its not fair on you, try and just explain to him and see if he understands it from your veiw??

You really are having a rubbish time at the moe and i really hope it starts to turn around for you and very soon

  • Hello peeps!

Am sort of back in buisness as usual, me and the OH have sorted our differences out and i feel my black cloud is lifting slightly.

Not much happening on the debt front, not going down much now, (tis the end of the month) and still havent got round to doing any ebaying either. Has been nice not to think about the debts for a week whist i was under my cloud. not added to them though so thats a good point.

Just waiting now till i get paid next month, hoping to get over my £4k target..........
may eventually get the motivation to ebay, have been keeping up doing th edaily scratcheez, not getting very far though as it takes ages for those 10p's to add up!

    so, upwards and upwards!!!!
    love rags (still smiling, just......)

p,s thanks for all your kind words whilst i was an unhappy rags, glad i have virtual friends like you all.

  • Not quite sure whats going on at work at the mo as they have just taken on another nurse and bringing one of the nurses off nights onto days...........................not sure there is enough hours for them though as i have requested extra hours and so has a few of the other nurses. keeping my fingers crossed tightly that i still get some overtime for august rota......................................if not will have to have a think bout how to up my income?????? may have to ebay after all.

going to ring the tax credits peoples today as still not recieved any since i renewed my credit????? naughty people. will help loads if they give me what they owe all together as augusts childcare bill is going to be high with it being school hols.

trying to find a good pressie for ds1's 1st birthday next month, struggling with my fella as he keeps telling everyone (including me) to buy clothes as he thinks he has enough toys!!!!! which is fine but his family doesnt have the same taste in clothes as me, and his dad buys them far too big, ds2 still hasnt worn a coat he got for xmas 2 years ago as it was bought age 5-6!!!!!! and i kind of feel its a special birthday and want ds1 to get more than clothes, seen as most of his toys were ds1's!!!!! need to sort his toys out actually and get rid/sell the baby baby ones.

only have the egg2 cc payment to come out this week and thats it for the month, OH did some overtime on mon and got £80, so hoping to put that into the bank and transfer it to the hbos cc. After messing up on the balance transfer i wont be clearing it in the next 3 months anymore:mad::mad: maybe in the next 4-5 months depending on what happens with the overtime at work....................

so i think it may be ticker time!!!!!

    Hi Rags
Glad your feeling brighter and things are looking better with OH.

Could you ask family for vouchers, we did this for my sons 2nd birthday, we asked for ELC vouchers and bought outdoor toys swings, slides etc, we just explained how much he enjoyed activity outdoor toys and wanted to buy something that he would use alot and would last a few years.

    Take care miemie

Hi Rags glad to see you are a bit brighter :j did you ever give re mortgaging any thought as i know you were considering it, I did this 3 years ago and it made life a lot easier and now i over pay, it maybe not the done thing for every one......but it saved me from having a nervous breakdown as i could not face doing full time hours to pay my debts in the job i did as it was far too stressful and i know for sure it would have made me ill and i would have hardly had the time to see my family ....i guess it may be another option for you but like i said its not always the best option.
    Keep smiling
