  • I think its 40% of what ebay charge the seller, when the item sells, so you will get 40% of that but it wont be 40% of the full price you paid....not very good at explaining am i!!!!

  • ok, so when i go back to work it should look something like this:

    Monthly Income: [STRIKE]£2237.00[/STRIKE]£2829?

    Monthly Outgoings: [STRIKE]£2135.32[/STRIKE] £2500.32?

    Personal loan = £173.80
    Joint Life Ins = £22.33
    Sky/broadband = £32.00
    BT phone = £15.00
    Council tax =£115.00
    Water =£33.07
    Dentist =£16.50
    TV License =£11.61
    Mortgage =£865.01
    Gas & Elec =£56.00
    Mobiles *3 =£160.00 (18mth contract on 2)
    Childcare =[STRIKE]£180.00[/STRIKE] £440?
    Food =£200.00
    Kids savings =[STRIKE]£5.00 [/STRIKE] £10 for 2(pays for things needed through year)
    My savings =£50.00 (pays for car tax, ins etc & emergancies)
    Petrol =[STRIKE]£100.00[/STRIKE] £250.00?
    Xmas saving = £50.00

    so by my guestimate that leaves £328.68 for anything not budgeted and debt repayments except for the loan which is direct debit every month.

    thought i would be a little better off but it looks like not by much, need my manager to look into the childcare vouchers which should help bring the childcare costs down but still need about £100 extra in order to meet my target!

    i have added the xmas fund as sick of trying to pay xmas out of two months wages or my savings, least next year i will have money for it. Working it out it would give me around £500 as wont be starting it till march when i go back, wont be spending that much so can use the left over money to throw at the debt.

    this is of course, if everything goes to plan, may have to budget my oh's garage and coffee habit or find a way to stop it in the next week (before he goes back to work)

    will hopefully be working oppisite my mate who lives around the corner so we can have set days but that means we will no longer be car sharing.

    think i may have set myself a challemge i cant succeed in...................................

  • i know and totally feeling it now!!!!! lesson learnt, dont have a party of sorts on new years eve when you have to get up with the kids the next day. having a strong latte to wake me up then going to jump in a hot shower in the hope to look vaguely human like!!!!!:rotfl:

    won 30p on my scratchcards , no surveys and bank balance not looking healthy but not as bad as i thought, will have to wait for mortgage to go out tomorrow to asses the damage to my overdraft, think i may just keep it in with last month................fingers crossed!

    ooh and my ds2 needs to stop growing, he is 4 months old and getting to small for his 3-6 month clothes!!!!!!!!!! is in 6-9 month clothes today that are a little too big but not by much!!!!!! gonna be a tall lad me thinks...........

  • i am on here trying to hide from my ironing pile, it is slowly taking over!!!!!!!! its one job i used to love doing when i was about 10 and would do all my nans in the summer hols when she looked after me and my brother, but now i hate it as i have to do it!!!!!!

    i am officially sick of food!!!!!!!!!! sick of cooking it, seeing it, smelling it and eating it!! think you get to a point after xmas where you cant eat anymore......

    ds2 is a bit grumpy today as he is cutting his second tooth slowly so doesnt know what to do with himself. wants to bite down on things but then that hurts him..... restless night ahead for me (really could do with the sleep though)

    have decided i am going to sell all the baby stuff we no longer use, dont think there will be a baby no 3 and if there will be it will be a fair few years down the line. really need to declutter. think i am going to go through all my size 10's and sell them too, its getting a bit depressing having them in the nursery as a reminder. just need to get my butt in gear and get the items photo'd and listed.
