  • Yes there is a way to earn money online, but you won't earn it from filling in questionnaires etc.

Unfortunately you have to be shown what to do, but if you do something from this age - you could be making alot of money by the time you are 20.

What are your interests? Are you any good at writing? What skills have you got?

To 'freelance' you need to be used for something. I have read stories about kids as young as 14 running their own businesses online - they are lucky as they have been shown what to do or how to do it.

Answer my questions above and I'll see if I can help. But no, unfortunately there is no 'quick way' online.

i guess i should of said 10minutes in a car and to do it in 10minutes you have to go on the motorway, and walking there is relatively unsafe due to it being along main roads (50mph roads) with thin paths or country roads with no paths at all, ya know feel free to take your pick, and yeah there are buses but the route they take there is through another 3 villages in the area so its like a 40min bus ride

Thanks to people for actual helpful advice

and to the people who thought they may aswell troll my thread, go **** yourself

There's a difference between ''trolling'' and being a bit mean to someone,or not being as nice as they'd like. If you'd been ''trolled',you'd know about it.

When I was sixteen,I travelled an hour by train, the 20 minutes by bus, then 10 minutes walking to get to work - I got up at 4am - as did the many hundreds of others of people getting long train journeys to work.

My second job took 30 minutes to get to by bus.

And my last job took 40-50 minutes.

I really don't see the problem with you doing that aswell,so the 40 minute bus ride isn't really that big a deal if you really want the money badly enough.

    But,on a more helpful ''nicey-nice'' note ;

1 ) Carboot sales/etc or ebay (using an adults account,if they'll allow you) - you'd be amazed how much you can make doing things like this if you have something people want.
2 ) If you're good at any subjects at school, why not offer cut-price tutoring to younger kids? I've heard of quite bright kids doing this and making a bit,not as much as adult tutors but still.
3 ) You're legal, why not find a rich older woman and get yourself some cougar action? ;-) (Only about 77% joking)

Even then, tbh, I think with the whole Etsy etc thing, the handmade jewellery market is seriously saturated right now, and of course the prices people are expecting isn't leaving much of a profit margin. I used to make jewellery, but don't anymore.. Primarily because of that!

You say you're 10 mins from the nearest town - are there busses? I'd imagine that the wage you'd get would cover transport and bring in more than internet income does - and lets not forget you can still do your clicks etc online, when you have a job.

At 14 I flogged mobile phones (back when the business was awesome... these days people expect a lot for very little £ lol), at 16 I worked in Next (GAH never again!) and at 18 I moved into my first full time job in a call centre. Have now (20) quit the call centre and gone back into college... Starting to wonder if it was really for the best some days though tbh... hah.

Are you at college/school right now then?

I agree! I was just getting into craft (a bloke and craft, yeah!) when the saturation happened. Which was irritating, - I wasn't just doing it for the money but it'd have been good to sell some stuff.
