It used to be an RAF base but since the 60's has been a training centre for construction apprentices. Its very well known round here for a large concentration of young males aged 16 - 24

Hi Toots, I'm impressed - a lot of folk assume it stands for "Question of the Day"! It is actually "Queen of the Damned"

kitchen and living room have been once over-ed, decoration box has been brought through coz i'm undecorating ( yes I've told mum shes not a miserable old woman) kitchens been wiped over, though pots need doing, and the washings just finished so that needs hanging up. Had my wander got some more jelly beans at m and s, was sure they'd be sold out, but they still had some, nomnomnom. Got Die Hard (yay) and some chrimbo cards for next year.

Still got headache, so i've taken the 'migraine tablets and lucazade' route. Gonna finish living room and kitchen in the morning and do bedroom this afternoon with a movie on the TV, to keep me going of course.

Welcome newbies and returners - morning Lovelies.

Had brekkie, bathed and dosed DD up on parrots (AF).

Panto was good - especially an ad libbing bit where the dame described backstage snogging between snow white and the prince...and corpsed the entire cast. Since I had already seen it I knew that bit was different. I love panto! It wasn't the same one as AnW's Mum and AnW went to but 'their' dame was in our audience last night. We were in the shadow of The Crooked Spire for ours.
Links are there for anyone with time on their hands (like Mudbath).
Off to go and flutter a bit. By the way - nice list - I am running out of cupboards to sort! Thanks Pigpen
