Well I'm breakfasted but not dressed. Have put a load of washing in the WM, so made a start on flying. Will also need to make the B&B Pudding soon cos just checked the label and the bread was use by yesterday.

Will dress, then make the pud, do washing up, put washing in TD, then join you all for a HHC methinks.

got it...and it's supposed to be haunted! Returning WW2 pilots methinks...who actually got shot down.

The squash courts are definitely supposed to be haunted and lots of paranormal societies come and visit them, also a couple of the rooms in the conference centre (where I work) which is the old officers mess are supposed to have ghosties too :D

I'm back! Just had half a raisin and cinnamon bagel as my tummy was rumbling, a fun sized twix and cup of coffee obviously isn't enough to get me through the morning :rotfl:

Clear all dirty dishes (this may take two or three dishwasher loads!)
At least 2 more washing machine loads so I have clean pants and socks! - One load on :j Washing Mr G's work shirts so I can iron a load all at once then I don't have to worry about them for a week or so.
Sort out drying for horse and drying for tumble dryer. - Dryer on :j Rest of wet clothes finally hung out to dry!
Get piles of clothes ready for children to put away later. - Piles are done but I'll have more to add!

Take bin bag and spend 5 mins in each downstairs room throwing rubbish into it.
Vacuum all bits of carpet I can see as at least that's better than vacuuming nothing!
Put all recycling in the boot of the car ready to go later.

Slow but sure I think will win the day at the moment. Going to go and empty and fill the dishwasher next and stick the kettle on. Anyone care to join me? Not a full half hour as I need a coffee :D Also need to get the enthusiasm rounded up to start tackling the present/toy/clothes/recycling mountain in the lounge!
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

SPC2 #571 - trying to get as much as possible
  • Off to the relentless round of drudgery that is my kitchen!! And while I'm there I'll pull my head out of my @rse and attempt to get a grip. :D

I will join you gryfon - just put the kettle on myself and will use the time to make the BBPudding. 30 mins should be enough shouldn't it? I should hopefully be able to manage some washing up in that time too.

I've just been given the small Morphy Richards Accents Jet Black - because brushed steel is harder to keep clean. This is enamel (I think) and will wipe. It's a 3.5 l with a 2.5 l working capacity and there are three of us. This will do meals for 4 by the looks of it so probably a small one for you (ie this size?).

Thanks Valli - agree with you about the brushed steel (which is why I have a white plastic magimix & juicer!). Size sounds about right too, as I can freeze & reheat the extra (plus I do, occasionally, let other people into the house and feed them... the plan is to do more of this in 2009 as in theory I will be more organised ;) )

Well, my HHC didnt happen. Kids decided they wanted to play Star Wars so pulled out their costumes and I had to help them get them on. So DS1 is being a Clone Trooper(not to be confused with a Stormtrooper), and DS2 is a miniature Darth Vader!!!

Ohh well, will do HHC 11.45-12.15. Kids allowing!!
