Nicki - thx for the card which arrived this morning posties arent very swift round here! I like the sound of your seasonal organiser, is it something you bght or found on a website or made yourself?

I used to have one I made myself (based on one from Organizedhome.com) but I got sick of either loosing the sheets of paper or not keeping it up to date. :o So I bought this one from Lakeland ;) They don't appear to have it for sale on their website anymore though:confused: I'll be adding to it as I work my way through that and my new "Mum's Plan-It" organiser from Borders as it was half price in the sales :o

Bu**er. Have to go into the Staines office for 1pm... Must shower & dress. And get petrol on the way. WHY do people have to have crises at this time of year?! It's all their own fault anyway...

... I've had my legs waxed, and cleared my desk (onto the ironing board), so I should be able to give my study a bit of a blitz tonight and get my new hifi in there :D

    Catch you all later...

Panto was good - especially an ad libbing bit where the dame described backstage snogging between snow white and the prince...and corpsed the entire cast. Since I had already seen it I knew that bit was different. I love panto! It wasn't the same one as AnW's Mum and AnW went to but 'their' dame was in our audience last night. We were in the shadow of The Crooked Spire for ours.

Well I got the wrong panto!!!!! We went to City Hall, I knew it was Sheff :p still had a great time though :D

    Morning all (just)

One load of washing out on the line sulking.

I've done the bathroom and toilet thoroughly and washed the floors.

Dusted and polished the living room. Vacuumed right through downstairs and did the stairs and landing.

Wiped round kitchen and cleaned out the fridge. Again.

Back to work this afternoon :(

Off to catch up with thread when I've started cooking lunch.

If I post quick, I'll be able to get away with saying morning ladies!!

:hello:Hi to all the newbies, my word, we're getting awfuly popular aren't we!

My back is so much better today - I really sympathise with those who have chronic pain, I couldn't get through three days....

Just done the washing up, and a quick flit about the kitchan, made DS1 put all the large pans etc up on the unit tops, as I can't acually lift my leg enough to climb onto a chair. I've caught up with the thread, and had a coffee.

Now, I'm going to measure the windows again with DS2, and then we're off to buy my curtain material - let's hope they've not sold out. Yesterday I found a carpet I liked, and they're coming to measure up tomorrow - while the livingroom is pretty much emptied out for Christmas. Then, I want to clear away all the Christmas stuff. DD is complaining about it, but I think I've had enough of it, and want it clear for the New Year.

I'll do a bit more of the lists this evening.

    Have a lovely day!

Well I unloaded the dishwasher...then got fed up of all the c**p left on plates and mugs so I got some cleaner and a cloth out and had a go at the manky bits around the edge of the dishwasher and I've just put a couple of drops of stardrops in and put it on a fast wash for a rinse. Then I'll load it properly

Clear all dirty dishes (this may take two or three dishwasher loads!) - Emptied and cleaned dishwasher
At least 2 more washing machine loads so I have clean pants and socks! - One load on :j Washing Mr G's work shirts so I can iron a load all at once then I don't have to worry about them for a week or so.
Sort out drying for horse and drying for tumble dryer. - Dryer on :j Rest of wet clothes finally hung out to dry!
Get piles of clothes ready for children to put away later. - Piles are done but I'll have more to add!

Take bin bag and spend 5 mins in each downstairs room throwing rubbish into it.
Vacuum all bits of carpet I can see as at least that's better than vacuuming nothing!
Put all recycling in the boot of the car ready to go later.

Have a coffee now and DD2 is eating a jam sandwich. Suppose I should phone my parents and see how the children are getting on.
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

    In my HHC i....

    Cleared benches in kitchen
    Washed dishes
Put a load of washing in the machine
Cleared toys from living room floor
Collected all the washing from downstairs(it's never ending!!!)
Just need to do the floors through downstairs and it should look presentable.

Enough procrastinating.... suppose I better get kids room finished!!
