Well Apple Bread & Butter Pudding is in the oven as we speak - it was a lot more fiddly than I thought, and the recipe didn't say what size dish to use, so I've used my new roasting tin. However, the bread on top didn't get saturated when I poured the custard over, so I got the cream pot, swished a bit of milk around it, and poured over. Hope it turns out ok. Recipe says 45-50 mins, but am going to check after 30 to see how it's going. Wouldn't want it to burn.
OH and I have just had a row again about his inappropriate use of cleaning products - eg. using Harpic Power Plus daily when he's had a No2 and me having to replace it regularly. Sorry if tmi.
Oh well, I'd best go and find some lunch. May as well add that to the washing up pile before I do any of the cooking stuff. Also need to put the washing in the TD and put a new load on.

SM at least he uses it, mine just leaves skiddies all over the place and thinks it's ok
as do the kids....I spend half my life with my hand down a bog. Maybe if you just tell him to wipe it instead of using products?
I still haven't started my dailies......I have however double checked the start time for the panto this evening....priorities!0 -

:hello: Hello, newbie from yesterday here again..
Not following today's list, I'm being a rebel and doing my own thing!
DONE:
load of washing washed and hung on airer
dry washing folded and put away
kitchen cloths soaking in milton to be washed tonight
TO DO NEXT:
Wash pots from lunchtime
Wipe round in kitchen
Wipe round in bathroom
Then I'll think of another 3 later on this aft, I like doing things in 3s for some reason!
I had a bit of a strop this morning and stayed in bed till 11, makes me feel worse though, I need to start forcing myself out of bed and getting myself showered and dressed at a reasonable hour! DH tries his best to coax me out of bed with breakfast and coffee but I'm sooo grumpy in a morning and he gets the worst of it!! Any ideas for rising and shining? I do know i feel so much better when I'm up early, I used to get up about 6 and get loads done, and I felt great for it, but now I'm in this lay in habit I can't seem to get out of it. Next week will be a wake up call as DH starts work at 8 so I'll need to be up with the little one. So I've got 5 days to get the new habit sorted...
Anyway I will just ramble on a bit more then I'll do my 3 jobs...
DH popped to Morrisons for me earlier to see if they have had a delivery, apparently they are not getting one till Friday and have no milk, or fresh meat - they are the shipped from the UK, nowhere else in Gib sells fresh milk, and Spanish people drink long life, and I like my (well DH and DD, I'm veggie)meat to say free range or organic and suchlike on it (which they dont have at the Spanish supermarket) so my plans for a stocking up the freezer shop will have to wait till then. We do need nappies as a matter of urgency though, so will need to go shopping this aft, and then again on Friday. Whoppee what fun
I've just read through eveyone's posts from today, but can't remember enough of it to reply to everyone - how to you do that? Your brains must be less mushy that mine!0 -
You're all taking your decs down early
I usually take mine down Jan 1st that's as early as I would possibly be allowed. The cards keep falling down tho so the next time it happens they're staying down.
