  • Hi all :hello:

Feeling a bit hung over from yesterday - had a late Xmas dinner with the inlaws then a communal play on the Wii - FIL loved it and he's 79! - bet he feels creaky today!

Have done not much so far - went and said my 3 hail mary's and a ryvita at SW this morning and confessed my 2lbs on due to scarfing evey choc and cheesy puff within arms reach yesterday - oh well :o, as they used to say on my PE report, could do better!

Am trying to summon the momentum to peel bum off seat to go and look for a nice calendar for next year - had one given to me for Crimbo but didn't float my boat so recycled it to my sis. Any good ones out there?

    Little list for later:-
Clean 5 windows (maybe DH will oblige)
Sweep and mop kitchen floor (will let DH do that one too- he's good at straight lines)
    Change bed
    Wash sheets
Wrap pressie for friend's bday and post
    Make eye appointment
    Register vac online for guarantee

Need a :coffee: - kettles on - anyone want one?
    I'd rather be watching CSI!

Congrats pigpen...and just accept the money and don't look for the logic :rotfl:

I'm feeling a little shaky now, still haven't managed to eat anything, well a couple of silverskin onions which are yummy but aren't going to fill me up.

Haven't managed to get DD2 to nap either, she keeps saying no and stamping her foot at me when I mention it. I think I really need to stand up to her though as she'll only be 20mths on Thursday :o

Oh I have finished a bowlful of washing up though.

We're having the same with my DD, My husband keeps saying he think's she's growing out of these afternoon naps.. I really want her to nap until she's in full time school! We had some resistance today but plonking her in the cot with 5 or so books usually does the trick, we hear a book hit the floor every 10 mins or so and and then after the last one's been chucked all is quiet...
  • Yup - you're on the right one now Kaz

sarahsarah...I'm hoping these naps last for a while yet. I know if she doesn't have them by 5pm she's seriously cranky and it's not bed time till between 7pm and 8pm. Once I move and change her bottom and put her in her cot she shouldn't complain, but I can't can't be bothered ;) :rotfl:Ok really got to move and get her down for at least an hour! Usually she'll sleep for a couple of hours though so we'll see.
