Bed stripped, WM on, fridge cleaned out (including shelves in door!), bathroom S&S'd, loo cleaned, kitchen S&S'd, kids are halfway through putting their blocks away so I can vacuum (DS2 is poorly, may need a nap - he doesn't usually have one unless we're in a car!).
Whoever asked if I'm a cleaner (sorry, got lost in the posts!) I'm not but MIL's boss's cleaner walked out so I filled in and now they seem to be assuming I'm permenant! It's only a few hours a week but to be honest is a total pain as in laws have to come over, one has to drive me there while the other babysits, then come back and get me (I don't drive yet).
But they are trying to encourage me so I am very thankful.
I would take on more cleaning if it came up, when I'm getting paid for it I'm really efficient but at home I just cannot be bothered half the time, no one notices anyway!
But feeling good about what I've managed so far and since I started this post have got DS into his cot so hopefully will be able to do a little more.
    But for now,
    coffee break!
Thanks everyone for making me feel welcome!

sarahsarah; gryfon I'm soooo lucky! DS(27months) always naps for 2-3hrs in the afternoon :D:p and sleeps from 7pm to 8 am :j
My DS does this too (he is 18 months) but I fear I may have just woken him up shifting boxes :o (hmmmm I really should do less housework lol!). He has slept so well even from a tiddly little thing, despite breast-fed babies apparently not sleeping well!! He is not bf anymore but still loves his sleep. He is getting a bigger tooth through now too and is even more sleepy. He'd be perfect ;), if only I could curb his tomato sauce addiction!!!!!!! :o

Would you like to join me Orkney in 5 mins?
Thanks, but I will wait a bit and rest for 10 mins, don't want to overdo it! Our HHC's will overlap- I will be with you in spirit for the first part ;).

  • sexymouse I know what you mean about the products. I tend to do the washing up as DH wastes the dishwashing liquid and I haven’t worked out which I value more. I will join you now for HHC. I will have to start with a nappy change

OrkneyStar...DD2 also loves tomato sauce! If she sees her brother having it she wants some. She dips whatever food she has into it :) I have managed to put her down, once she knows she's going she'll grab her doggy and put her thumb in, it's just me being lazy :rotfl:

Ok then she's in bed so I should get on with my list which I've lost. Think I need to go and find it!

    Congrats Pigpen

I've listed DD's HSM3 sticker swaps on ebay but I'm going to wait until she gets back before I list the Harry Potter ones - besides which there is supposed to be another Harry Potter sticker album and box of cards on its way to us for a bargain price of £10 (I've worked out to buy a BOX of stickers would cost £20 as they're about 40p per pack and there's 50 packs per box...I have got my maths right haven't I? Plus the album, since the last one cost me £1.49 I'm happy) :D I wouldn't have bothered only I bought 20packs of Harry Potter stickers for her to go in her album, opened some of them, then realised they were the wrong ones for the album she has :o How was I supposed to know they were different ones for sale?

I've also bid on some boxes of stickers on ebay for the albums she has, and enquired about some other stickers for another album she has but I can't seem to get the stickers for it anymore (Pretty Princess ones  ) so short of putting in multiple orders through the panini website (she needs 189 to complete the album  and you can only order in batches of 40) ebay seems to be the only option.

I should really go and wash my hair and have my bath - I put Lyclear on it (DD has had nits so I'm playing it safe ;) ) about 11.15 and it says leave it on for at least 15mins.... :o I have deleted over 15,000 emails though from my ISP address :p Bath time!

Washed up - well yukky pan still soaking. DD wanted pancakes for Brunch so got the pancake pan out then thought I'd be clever and make little ones in the frying pan to stack and maple sirple 'em (and I ate them yum) but the non stick isn't as good as it was...twas a VERY dear pan but it has had some hammer as they say round these parts. Time for a new one methinks...

    Found it!

Clear all dirty dishes (this may take two or three dishwasher loads!) - Emptied and cleaned dishwasher

At least 2 more washing machine loads so I have clean pants and socks! - One load on :j Washing Mr G's work shirts so I can iron a load all at once then I don't have to worry about them for a week or so. Next load on, think this is load number 2...red/pink clothes now. Worrying when I have enough of that colour for a whole load!

Sort out drying for horse and drying for tumble dryer. - Dryer on :j Rest of wet clothes finally hung out to dry! More waiting for dryer and to be hung out now!

Get piles of clothes ready for children to put away later. - Piles are done but I'll have more to add!

Take bin bag and spend 5 mins in each downstairs room throwing rubbish into it.

Vacuum all bits of carpet I can see as at least that's better than vacuuming nothing!

Put all recycling in the boot of the car ready to go later.

Think I may go and sort all the packaging from the lounge now, should make a big difference!

DS was sitting making 'mmm mmm mmm' grunting noises and pointing, and I was thinking 'what does he want now?'....you guessed it, followed the line from his finger and where did it stop ? MrT's tomato ketchup lol! I am a bit concerned though as it seems to make his face a bit red! :o
Anyway I am off now for an HHC/HHI...........
