Luckily I'm only related to the natives by marriage (my uncle married into a local family)... so I don't have any physical evidence of where I'm from!
Depending on how long you've been in Bircham, you may well know my dad, as he was the local GP until a few years ago. I'm a bit confused about where you might be working though... unless its at Bircham Newton, the village shop, the school, or the post office... the reason I left Norfolk is that there are no jobs (so congratulations on finding one!).
I expect we both know lots of the same people ...

Just found a recipe for Apple Bread & Butter Pudding, so going to make that minus the calvados cream, as it'll use up some of my cooking apples. If you want to see it:

Hi all,
Very little flying done today as i spent most of it at my Dads house. It was lovely to see them but i've got a sore arm from playing on the Wii:rolleyes:. I want one now:p. Ds2 had a Roary racing car track from them that i didn't let him get out whilst we were there as it would have taken up all the room. I said he could play with it when we got home. We didn't get back until 7 and he'd fallen asleep in the car so i was praying he'd stay asleep and not want it set up. He woke up as OH carried him :eek:in so i just quickly put on his pj's and put him in bed. Thankfully he went straight to sleep, i was dreading having to set it all up:rolleyes:. I'll have to do it tomorrow though.

:rotfl: Yep I'm at Bircham Newton, its a trek out there every day but they pay stupid money for what I do. OH would know your Dad as he's a paramedic and was based at Hunstanton for about 12 years so that would have been in his patch. You'll have to PM the details as my mind has gone blank as to the GP's in that area (I used to work at the QE hospital for a few years so know quite a few by name!)
Still havent shifted from here but better go now and assess whats happening downstairs and I really am going this time :rolleyes:Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
