mamma mia - doesn't it have abba songs in? tbh I would rather shove pins up my nails. Sorry, despite being a child of the 70s I can't abide Abba. Not a huge TV/Film fan anyway, just dont have the attention span.

I did do my HHC - but got side tracked by making tea and DS1 (age 5) deciding that he should wee in the LR bin rather than in a toilet! About to put (what is left of) the boys to bed.

'Twas I OJK - I mentioned it. 11 hours? You must have been really determined to get to the top! I walked up it several times. One day, in February I think, I went up with a friend. There was snow on the ground and it was the week of Red Nose day so we built a snowman and gave him a tomato (red and biodegradable) for a nose! :rotfl:

i used to run up it for some stupid reason....

I was with a group that adopted the trig point om top many years ago when the OS was giving up on many due to the upkeep costs...
Trust me lugging bags of cement and around 400L of water up there is back breaking but rewarding work....

Hey all, I have just spent the last two hours catching up. Really dont feel like flying now. Am off tomorrow, and the flat aint too bad so i might leave it til then...

You spend all that time reading, then you can't remember anything

Welcome ALL newbies, seems to be loads of you - to reiterate what someone else said, its very addictive, enter at your own risk!

To those who are mums-to-be, congrats! and those who are(Or have) suffered with this SPD thingy (will check out the links later) argh, sounds somwhat the opposite of pleasant.

Did I hear you mention coffee Pigpen (I don't care if it was last nite) can I have a trillion shot espresso, my eyes are soooo heavy.

I discovered today that I don't have to wander round ASDA on my break, took a book and sat in our 'quiet room'(was the smoking room) and read for half an hour, was good.

Going to hunt out a drink and chocci's, and maybe pringles...or trifle...

I know I could look on the slow cooker thread, but I trust your opinions... my dad's planning on getting me one for my birthday, but apparently he's confused as there are so many to choose from! So what do you recommend, and what are the important criteria when making a decision?!
  • Evening all - back at work today but with DH and DS at home - came home to tea waiting - pure bliss!

Quick surf and a question - then a HHC or two!

I've seen some lovely red and navy poloshirts in Adams at very good prices :D - they are school uniform but hey should i get them for DS to wear around the house? (His uniform is gold and have only seen them in a local woolies for ages 12+ and he needs a 7 or 8.)

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

OK, well, I needed to try to get the house looking better fast, once DS and family had gone...so, all beds and towels changed and washing done, living room straightened fast and floor mopped. Kitchen blitzed..and now I'm exhausted!

I have a mahoosive morphy richards one.. 6.5L .. it does enough to feed everyone for one meal and a couple of lunches for me to go in the freezer.

The handle on the lid was a bit naff but all in all I am very pleased with my purchase!

I had to base my decision on size and price..
