having a night in front of the telly with OH tonight so will see you all in the morning,
G'night all0 -
I'm off to make the dinner as OH has just come in asking when I'm going to start it, so he's obviously hungry. We had a very late and reasonably sized lunch, so I'm not that hungry yet, although that may have something to do with the biscuits and chocolate I've eaten in between lol.
Probably won't be on here again tonight, so good night to you all, and sweet dreams.
Will see you all tomorrow for some HHCs. I haven't got children either (fur babies don't count now he goes outside to the loo) so will try to do more of mount washmore and a general declutter and tidy.
Night all,

Thanks for the heads up about Jonathan Creek and Miss Marple - I've seen the Joan Hickson version of Nemesis, but not the Geraldine McEwan. Now I'm in turmoil - which one do I watch? I love them both. I don't have a video set up on my TV. Does anyone know if they're repeated tomorrow anywhere?

Jonathan Creek will probably be on iPlayer tomorrow.0 -
Thanks Polly - I was thinking that JC is more likely to be repeated (as it's new) that the Miss Marple so I will watch MM.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Hello everyone. I just want to let you know I am thinking of you. Flying has been limited to essential maintenance while the family have been home for the Christmas holiday. We have just about managed to tidy up and S&S the bathroom before visitors come round.
I hope you have all had a fabulous Christmas and wish you all happiness in the New Year.
Normal flying will be resumed next week.Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in.0 -
Just been reading the thread about spending vouchers/points in case companies go bust:

I have a few quid on an Argos card/ditto WHSmith - less than £10 each
About 45p of points on a WHSmith clubcard
About £5 at most in Boots points
Not much but I will spend them all PDQ just to be on the safe side. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Nearly there with sorting out the kitchen chest of drawers - it contains hats/gloves/shoes - everybody has a drawer each and then I'm going to soak my feet (to declutter two almost empty hand wash bottles) in front of the tv.

Help yourself to the list - I'm glad someone sees the point of it
. The problem with living on your own is that the mess is all your own, so in theory it shouldn't get into that state... and there isn't anyone else to blame either!
And feel free to ask about gas & electric (either PM or yahoo email)... first piece of advice, if you haven't already done it, is to find your meters and start reading them regularly so you know what you're using as well as what you're paying!
Thank you and thank you! Your list had lots of little things on it that I tend to forgetand I thought it might help me! I'm sure it can't really be me that makes all this mess and has soooooo much stuff
!!
have PM'd you re gas and electric - don't rush to reply as I know your busy (I've seen the list)
