Not got time to read as DPs on his way back from Halfrauds, hopefully with a diagnostic tool because it isn't the battery, wahhhhhh, that was the easy/cheap option! Anyway I then have to let him know I have arranged to do the homecheck tomorrow at 12 noon so will need to steal his car, he'll be impressed.

Right, best go wrap up ready to help with trying to get my car fixed, well find out what it is at least.....
One day I might be more organised...........

Ok.. you know I said we ALWAYS have a disaster at new year with one thing or another?... well...

    WE have gas....

We have electricity (obviously or I'd not be here)

    We have water....

    BUT...

The central heating isn't working! lol

The radiator valve the fireman kicked off is leaking and the system can't hold the pressure so the heating won't stay on...

    It is FREEZING!!!!

Oh dear pigpen, we knew it was too good to be true, silly firemen, can they send some nice ones to fix it?

Still here as DP isn't back yet, not usually a good sign, means they might not have what we need and he's trying to find somewhere else open (I don't think there is anywhere)

Have you got any pics of Woody Dusty? I'd love to see what he looks like.

There's one on my Facebook page but I'll pop one on here in a bit too.

Whilst it is lovely to see how much we all appreciate each other on this thread I was thinking of actual events which I had remembered throughout the year and one of my favourites has to be:

:cool:ORF  (Feb and March 2008) the memories of a certain member dressed as a squirrel. I spent so much time here laughing my head off and watching Soappies driveway for hours - the excitement of seeing traffic drive past somebody's house:rotfl: :rotfl:

I am going to find myself a list of stuff I need to get done in the next few months.. I have a 'house plan' I need to find kitchen paint too.. is B&Q having any decent sales on the paint does anyone know?

    Mmmmmm, I wonder....

Pigpen, hope you get the valve sorted soon - can you get a cap for it from B&Q or somewhere to put on just for now and then at least the rest of the rads should work? They have some great guys in there that can help (can you tell I've had to ask a few questions in the past myself??? :D ) and a cap is only a couple of quid I think, if that.
