After mincing the pork and putting the skin on the nozzle (ooooh, that took me back to my wild days - just like putting a ..... no I won't go there ! )

All ironing and vacuuming done, but I didn't finish the dusting! I might do it in between whiles tomorrow.

I currently have four 20-somethings getting ready for a night out in Cardiff but I don't have to take them as one has decided she doesn't feel like drinking so is driving them and parking near her friend's house. Saves me a trip.

*Rant alert! *
DS and GF are fine. Her mother decided at about 5 that if they weren't going to a friend's party, she had to come home, so I'm afraid we've lied! She really has had enough. If she did go home, she would be fetching and carrying for them all evening, and they wouldn't stay up to see the New Year in. She's still keen to move in, but keeps putting it off a bit. She's now saying maybe February half term, but the closer it gets to her 17th birthday, it will be even less of a problem for her. I just keep hoping that, when she does leave home, they'll carry out their threat of moving elsewhere. It would be the best thing for her to have them at a distance! :mad: *Rant over*

Anyway, I'm off to enjoy the rest of the evening with some of my family.

BTW - did anyone watch the Mastermind Celebrity Special and do you know what has happened to Mel Smith? Has he been ill?

The end result: Not bad for a first attempt I think. The proof, of course, will be in the eating!

Now I'm off to do the fennel and paprika ones... then cook some for tea :eek:
