To be frugal, you need to spend money wisely, simply spending less is not enough.

Just nipped on to wish you all a Happy New Year.

See you all in the new year.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

I have lots of good intentions this evening, but I'm not convinced I'll get that far! Like supergirl I feel like curling up in front of a dvd and having an early night!

Well GB I hope whatever you get up to, it's what you want to do! Here's to that sofa!!!!

SarahS that sounds like my issue with the awning, they wanted to charge me for replacement (well over £100) then they lost them (I think they planned on not sending them back as told me I needed to replace them but DP said he wanted them to try to repair them) so they had to replace them free :D

WOO HOO Gotta love it when that happens eh?!!!!??? :D

Hugs Sarah, hope you all feel better soon, but have a lovely evening all together anyway...

    (Thanks Flower!!)

And good news from Virgin too - isn't it sutupid that they will send it out anyway free, but not give you one free in the first place? still, at least it all worked out in the end... good for you...

    ( I know, bonkers, but I'm not moaning!! :D )

We had a takeaway last night too - the budget is really starting end of Jan, as wages/catchups will be all back on track by then, but will need to tighten belts just a bit in Jan to get to end of it (why is it such a looooong month?)

( Budget, budget, did someone mention a budget  )

Quick question - the piggyback thing - I know when I did mine a while ago there was a spreadsheet on this site that I could put all the totals into and get the best way to pay them back - I have the original one I did a few months ago, but need to update to make sure everything is right, and I can't find it now - do you know how I can???? thanks hun x

( No babe, I don't, that sounds great though!!! I just used the snowball calculator, not a spreadsheet :o )

Well just a quick update from before I carry on....

And congrats on the ironing toots!!! I'm a evil person who ignores my iron...

I'm feeling quite medetive this new years eve, though I must remember to put the bedding back on the bed at some point otherwise I'llfeel cold aswell later. kinda going through the stuff I want to change in my life and what things are important to me. I've realised alot over the last couple of months about myself and others, and although I still have a way to go on that whole learning relaxation thing, I think I'm getting something of a handle on it. One of my many resolutions is to continue working on that..(and of course flylady-ing, the weight, the money... ) Got a lot of plans for 2009 in SkyCity, I hope I can pull them off. I'll say this now, although I'll be around til we go to bed (possibly before midnight)
Happy New Year all my fab flylady (and gents) friends. I hope 2009 is special for the many good and pleasureable things it brings you. I wish for a happy, healthy and wealthy new year for us all!
