I understand about the Piggybanking technique but what if you can't open six accounts in a bank/banks? I can't as my credit rating is too bad, I have one bank account but can't open any more, no one will have me!

Default Problems with Spreadsheet

Hello

Im trying to add more rows to the "Enter Other Income Source" part of the spreadsheet, but its not allowing me to do so...saying that the page is "protected". When I try to "Unprotect" it prompts me for a password. Which i obviously dont have.

Im using the spreasdsheet in Office 2007...could this be the problem?

I believe you all know what issues i am going to raise here:
On the What Do You Earn pane there are no I, J and K columns thus the formula that includes to I108:K108 for example appears to be wrong.
When i use it it gives me #REF! error.

This is an interesting one... What version of Excel/Open Office are you using? Would it be possible to post a screenshot of this, obviously removing any personal data before hand..

MS Excel Office 2003.
Screen capture doesn't seem to work but it was a good idea!! I even tried to put it on Google Docs ... lol

The top runs from ... E F L M N ....
Im in Part B and the formula starts with =(SUM(I108:K108)>1, "ERROR" ....
Needless to say repayments total is #REF! too

Default Spreadsheet Budget Planner

The budget planner is a great tool.
I was thinking of modifying it to enter dates for income and bank-automated expenditure so I can visualise my net worth weekly and restirct other spending.
Is there any chance you can provide the password to unprotect the workbook?

Default Downloading the budget planner

Hi All

Ive downloaded the budget planner spreadsheet, but I get a notification that it is read only. When I try to unprotect it using the review tab, Im asked for a password. Have I done something wrong when I downloaded?

My guess is you've just clicked it; rather than right click and saved it?

Hi Dimarian
I had the same prob and turned out I wasnt downloading correctly. Instead of clicking on it like you normally do to download, you need to right click and save as (some new systems quote "save target as" then choose a place on your pc to save it to. I saved mine on the desktop, have only had it two days and have been into it a number of times.

Hi,

I've downloaded the spreadsheet and am able to use it on my pc. However, I just tried to email my updated version to my brother (I'm trying to help him sort out his budget), and it didn't send. I got a message saying:

Some of the files could not be found and could not be attached to the message. Would you like to send the message anyway?

I hit "yes", and the message was sent without the attachment. Is there something I'm doing wrong, or is it not possible to email it? I was hoping we'd be able to send it backwards and forwards between us as we made changes and suggestions.

Thanks for any help.

Unhappy Same problem here

[quote=polkadot;7764933]Hi All

Re need for password to unlock spreadsheet -

Just wondering if you've found a solution yet, as I've hit the same problem, though I definitely did right click and 'save as'. Frustrating!

Question password request

I have now right clicked several times and am still getting the protected item message and i need a password. Twice when I've opened the download its just been gobbledegook that has opened. Do I need to go through internet explorer instead of Mozilla Firefox? I've been trying for over an hour and I really really really am right clicking.

Default down loading the budget planner

Dear allthewaysindebt

Thanks for that but I do have excel and I clicked on your link and there was so much info on that page, nothing that seemed to be anything to click on to down load, seemed more of a forum. I've worked 110 hrs in the last 2 wks, I just want to be able to get on with it. Please help.
