Toots - as my daughter will testify - whenever she says (usually in high dudgeon and with raised eyebrows) "Mother, you're mad" my response is "it's the only way to be!"

Oh, and I understand about the crisp ironed sheets - but I have gazillion to an inch thread 100% egyptian cotton bedlinen - trust me - you don't need to iron it - with a throw on top, it looks neat but the feel as you slip between those cool, crisp (but unironed) sheets is just as wonderful as if it had been steam pressed!

And just for you I will seriosly think about not ironing any more duvet sets - actually it was toxic who got me ironing duvet covers - i just used to do the sheets.

How on earth do any of you have time to keep up with this thread though? That was one thing I struggled with last time!

Monday Mayhem..

Level One
If you have a special meal New Years Day make sure you have everything you need!
S&S kitchen

Level Two
Clean the oven and hob now you've eaten your feast! It shouldn't take long!
Declutter 1 toy box
Change any bedding you need to get washed

Level Three
Catch up on some laundry ..
S&S bathroom & loo
Put some laundry away

Extras

1. HHC in your bedroom.. most look like a war zone!
2. Dust round the whole downstairs
3. do a crazy HHC decluttering downstairs
4. Make sure you spend at least half an hour doing something for yourself!
