How on earth do any of you have time to keep up with this thread though? That was one thing I struggled with last time!

yes it can be a struggle - especially as we are growing every week - its ok if you are around during the day you can pop in and out but otherwise you have to skim read!!!:rotfl:

AND.. as another strop at tesco.. I have placed a second order with asda.. so I have one coming tomorrow (£70) and one coming Tuesday (£120)... I WILL restock the cupboards and that lot should keep me going until hubby is paid at the end of January.. aside from fruit and veg and milk and packed lunch crisps and bickies, I shouldn't have to buy anything.

I did treat myself to a couple of glass bowls for the beautiful pot pourri I got to make me sneeze in the middle room.

Bedtime now.. g'nite my little minions... xxxxxxxx

Suzieq... I tend to look out for long posts that have reference to lots of little ones.. or ones with multiple quotes.. they usually show you the relevant bits.. usually I do skim read everything but I only manage to do that when I have time

  • I'm in - need to get organised and clear some clutter... must get rid of those dvd's and videos out of my bedroom, getting annoying now...

Have been very good today and been right through our finances and have worked out what we have left a week after paying everything out, then have worked out a savings/debt payment plan for the year on these figures (worked on minimums, so any extras are a bonus).

Now I will set up a standing order and make sure we put this away so we can save for some important things that we need to get and also to get our debts paid off too - going to do both at the same time to give us some encouragement - nothing like seeing a healthy balance in the savings account to make me put more in it...;) and on some stuff (like the new carpets that we need - we have bare floors upstairs at the moment) I will pay off the credit cards instead of saving as we can pay for them on those, but in the mean time I won't be paying interest... see, there is a plan there somewhere...

It's taken me ages, but I really need some motivation to get these sorted - we sat down together and wrote a list of what we need/want/would like first... me - new carpets, hubby - flat screen tv for the start of the motor racing season... mmmmm, think someones priorities are a bit out there...:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I'm supposed to be working tomorrow, so might not get on here, but good luck to froddy and Toots on your HHI's...
