and actually the point of my original post was.....
I'll take your job and the salary it provides if you want to swap for the £70 bonus - but that £70 bonus comes with the £50 pw carers allowance I take because I am unable to work. So please do take my £50 a week carers allowance and the bonus, but it comes with 24/7 responsibility for 3 disabled kids and no respite.0 -
By the way, I have a £5 Zavvi gift token for the first person to mention that they're in a 'hard working family'.0

ok please dont have a go , but i can see from both sides, ive been a single parent and struggled on benffiets, which i didnt get alot , and now im goona get the bonus because im a carer for my youngest son , took me along time to claim for it as i keep on saying i will care for him anyway beacuse he my son, but anyway i get high dla and have a mobility car, hes has physcial problems, and learning difficulties and a sleep disorder, my husbond works long hours for s*****t money but hey at least he has a job, i spend the monies i get on travel (petrol) also trying new things and he gonna start swimming lessons in jan, but i now people who rip the system of (not saying anyone here is honset) what make it hard for real people i now someone who gets housing beniift, income support, and high dvla for 3 kids and spends ever night in the pub (even tho we all desreve a break) so i think we should try to understand everyone (also no one case of someone haveing her legs taken of and was told your not disabled enough sick happy new year peeps0

I can't believe that there are people who would complain about the £60 payment, or make posters who are entitled to it feel like they have to explain themselves. What a world we live in.They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0

As far as i know the extra £60 payment is for carers, pensioners and people with disability. This is to help cover the cost of winter fuel.
I thought the winter fuel payments were separate?...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
