    A years supply of water in bean bags....good idea.
    Problem is, as you work your way through it (during the meltdown) you end up with nothing to sit on.

    it could indeed happen!!! remember the rationing books of the war? who would have thought it would be like that 2 yrs before war broke out!!! never say never!!

    besides, the 40's didnt have supermarkets back then or big wheelie bins or sunday opening......i.e. loads of food, thrown away, everyday......
