As someone who deals with risk in his professional life I can see the point of this.
It is a wee bit mental though too. Until the day that it's not.0 -

Then I got a lead ... they had them on display/to touch and play with ... in M&S. So off I set. Into M&S, up the stairs... target spotted. Went over, fiddled, batteries dead. I asked the assistant to put new batteries in it, then I took it over to the ladies lingerie department where I sat down on one of the model plinths. I sat and played non stop with that for about an hour.
Nobody stopped me, nobody questioned it: mad middle-aged woman playing with RoboRaptor, completely entranced, in lingerie ... be aware, but stay away.
Brilliant it was.PasturesNew wrote: »STR: Not a loony then

Is the immune system like a muscle, ie it needs to be exercised or it will atrophy? If so, then eating out of date food = exercising your immunity system = "a good thing to do in moderation".No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Dried food should last for years; the whole idea of "best before" dates never existed in previous stockpiling eras.
I thought that deflation meant prices fell, so what is the point of stock piling?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Your immune system consists of 2 components, innate and adaptive. The innate system recognises pathogens based on their structure and things that humans don't have. The adaptive system needs to be primed and then it will be able to recognise the infection. So it doesn't need constant exercise but you will to kick start it.0 -
I guess if all else fails we can eat Zeno's tortoise.0
