I made the bunny from littlecottonrabbits knitting blog and it turned out really well and was so quick to knit up!

Had to call to Hobbycraft for smaller kneedles as I had 3.25 and it made them too big and not as cute. I used 2.25 and the knit is a lot tighter.

My hubby was really impressed as to how quick they were made. The fiddly thing is the sewing on of the limbs but instead of wool I used some embroidery thread three strands in thickness in the same colour as my wool and it worked really well.
I have nearly finished a teeny bear too its so cute the ears are teeny!

    Evening everyone

Well I have decided what X stitch decorations Im making for the tree this year :D ..Checked my file to see what threads I need (I have loads)and ordered them this morning :A :rotfl: ...... then this evening I have started one that I want to do -that is all in red..nice and easy to do without paying much attention -so i can watch TV at the same time :p ..Im planning on fitting them in between the bigger projects Im working on ;)

Im also about 1/4 of the way through my nieces poncho -knitted in very pink boa wool

Im sure I have never been this organised :j

I love to see what everyone is doing... but keep telling myself NOT to add anything else to my "to do" list

Wow :T You are soooo organised, wish I could get stuck in too but need to sort out the mess that is my craft stash first to see what I have and make a list of what I want to do, all swimming around in my head at the moment...must get going :D

Poppy, they are beautifully cute :p I can't really knit (did a bit as a kiddie but really forgotten how to), do you think I may be able to learn in order to knit some for Xmas? What 'kit' would I need or is it just needles and wool? I do cross stitch so have threads and embroidery needles coming out of my ears ;)

I just started knitting these this evening. Agree with you that the smaller needle size is better. I've done both and prefer the smaller one.

I only learned to knit March 08 and I've had no problems. I started on simple small projects like this one http://www.innocentdrinks.co.uk/thebigknit/?Page=resource_packs just so I got the hang of it and then moved on to other items. A cheep option is to go to a charity shop and buy knitting needles and yarn, keep the cost down and try it out. If you don't enjoy/get the hang of it you havn't lost too much money on it, that's how I started out.

Those rabbits and the soldier are so cute. Although I'm so tempted I'm going to put them off for a while as I've got a date with a ton of old greeting cards that I need to be dealt with.

Greenpixey, I used to make those innocent hats, you can get quite addicted to them.

I noticed someone mentioned Hama beads earlier up the thread. I made a few ornies with them in the past but haven't touched them in ages - got a massive tub of them. What do you all use them for?
