    Hey Mary, your list reminded me of being a brownie and having to have the little purse stacked with useful things, 10p for the phone, a pencil, a safety pin... What if you made it a "be prepared" tub instead, sure one of us talented lot could write a poem for it...

    oohh the shame :o -I got politely asked to leave the brownies -partly as I never remembered my little plastic bag with all that gubbins in :rotfl:

    LOL my mum was asked to find a new nursing home for my dad as they couldn't cope can you imagine being expelled from a nursing home!!:rotfl:

    Sian..ooohh you don't know me at all do you :p Im the youngest of five and my mum always maintains I popped out with my own mind and wouldn't be told anything :o Im still the same ...ask me and I will do anything -but TELL me to do something and you have no chance :rotfl:

    lets see now................so far I'm doing a sewing kit, first aid pot and now 'be prepared'.................anything else I wonder ? Never thought gravy granule tubs could have so many uses................lol

    Oops sorry wasn't clear, dad has actually passed away some time ago!! Heard of a little girl describing that her grandad had "Oldtimers disease" :rotfl:

    candy - well.......not on all of them............lol but he now automatically gives me empty tubs, empty paste jars, cook in sauce jars...........lol (he does the cooking by the way.....lol)...............I've still got a box full of glass jars and loo roll middles from last year................lol:rotfl:

    Why does all this talk of stashes of tube, boxes and bags take me back to when I was in the infants school many moons ago -when they used to ask us to save boxes, loo rolls etc for making things from :rotfl:

    Loo rolls now thats a thing of the past with schools as now most schools wont use them
