Wow those dolls are lovely but very expensive to buy the kit. Think I will have a go at making my own pattern for something similar as I am sure all the girls in my family would love these kind of things.

    Hi Rufus

Would it be VERY cheeky :o to ask you, please, to share the pattern you design for those of us who couldn't afford kits like this, and can't make up patterns?

    Thanks, Chris

    Evening all

    Im looking for inspiration :p
Years ago my mum was going to throw out her wedding dress  ..

    Hi Mrs M

I've only got down to page 13 so someone might have suggested this - how about covering a photo album with the fabric, for a special anniversary?

  • Hi All
Just a quick post to say that I've been making pickled bums & boobs & I've found that a colonial knot makes a great nipple. I couldn't beging to explain how to do one, but I'm sure if you google 'Candlewicking' you will find instructions.

Here's a love garland of mini stockings which could be used as an advent calendar for the knitter's amongst us http://www.classiceliteyarns.com/WebLetter/62/Issue62.php

This pattern is for a lunch bag! but I think it is beautiful enough that it could be used for gifts or as storage around the home. What do you all think?http://www.classiceliteyarns.com/pdf/SundanceLunchSack.pdf

    Hi shegrinch

I started knitting little stockings that were for hanging on the tree, but thought they would look nicer pegged on a little cord to make an advent calender :D ...I might get around to finishing it off for this year :rotfl:

I love that little knitted bag -its so cute...

right -back to my x stitch :p

    Hi Chris

If they turn out ok I will. I tried sewing one up last night and I'm not over the moon about it at the moment. Will have another look at it tonight and see if I can make it look a bit better. Have a lot of cooking to do this afternoon. I am hoping the parcel from Kemps might turn up today with the other wool in it for the clothes.
