  • Thanks but I didn't make that one, that's just the picture I'm trying to copy my ones from :) That one was a brooch I found on ebay, I'm making mine with a little loop on top so I can hang them on the tree. But I agree, they are beautful, hope mine turn out that nice too. Make sure you post pics if you do decide to make some :)

So far I've thought of sock monkeys, felt food, knitted mug cozies, mini scrapbooks (just decorating the cover), snowman soup....

    Hi everyone,

Been trying to keep up with the thread whilst on nights, but lots is happening!
I've been trying to cram in a birth cross stitch sampler i'm doing for my niece. She was born in June but i've told her mum i'm aimimg for Christmas. Don't think they'd be too impressed if I turned up and covered the nurses station in paper and glitter!

But I wanted to ask Jenagain what is felt food and has anyone got a piccy of the mug cozies? I can't knit but they sound fab!

This is the one I made. Google mug cozies and you can see more. Mine is crocheted but I've seen them made in loads of different ways.

Last year I didn't manage to buy the triangular cellophane bags for Snowman Soup but this year I'm determined to get them made. Does anyone know where I can get the triangular bags?

Sounds good to me at that price.
Cones -- I would go with the medium size. Don't forget you need 2 cones for each snowman. First fill with drinking choc and then secure with rubber band, then put this one inside the second cone and add toppings choc marshmallows etc then secure with rubber band ribbon and tag
