Just a bit off topic, but has anyone tried to connect a set of headphones to the Micromaxx pda , the hole seems to small for the connection. I have emailed Medion but no reply yet. The built in speaker is a bit low if you are in a lorry.

You need to get an adaptor to use normal headphones should only cost a couple of quid

@ owey - As mentioned before I'm not allowed to open the box yet  , so are headphones not included?

@ deanos - The adapter will presumably be something like this then? http://www.astarsolutions.co.uk/products/?pc=1184

Maplins stock a 3.5>2.5mm adaptor for £1.15 but the output of the Micromaxx is very high even on it's lowest setting and it's a very coarse level control so I'm building an attenuator (basically a 2.5 plug a 3.5 socket and a couple of mini trimpots. Connect the 2.5 plug across the trimpots and the 3.5 socket to the wiper and the same 'screen' pot tag as the 2.5 plug).

So does that mean it'll make a cup of tea now?

Is your GPS staying switched on? That would certainly drain the battery.
If the icon at bottom left does not have a little red box, then your GPS is on.

You can configure the SATNAV software to switch it on/off automatically when you start/stop it. Mine was like this by default, but it is possible that not all PPCs have the same configuration.
