That's some list Wilf, but i'm certain that just tackling one item at a time, when you feel up to it, you'll get the whole lot completed by Christmas.I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.0

Hi everyone, I'm back in the land of the living! I've been in bed with the flu for the past 6 days!
. The only upside to being ill meant I was unable to spend any money. I felt so weak that I didn't even have the energy to switch the computer on. I think it must have been "trying" to do two days Shred in one day! So I am now way behind on my Shred days. No way I can catch up now but July is another month.
Scrooge, I am so glad to see that you have stuck with the Shred and are now on Level 3. Well done you :T. You must be looking great what with the Shred, Zumba, power pump and cycling! You have really gone for it this month.
OK, I'm off to read all the posts properly and will be back to post a little later.
Ciao for now.

How much will you spend in 2017 #40 -
Good morning Micron, we have really missed you. So sorry to hear that you had the flu, but i'm so glad that you are on the mend. Take good care of yourself.
I've certainly got abs of steel now, and my fitness levels are way up, level 3 is not a problem, but the weight is still not falling off. I've lost one pound this week. I may try something different in July, but I'm not quitting losing weight until I am a 9 stone 13lb, size 10.

Copy of info for me to adjust diet plan
What I would do is have a serving of oatmeal for breakfast with some blueberries (or whatever fruit you like) and a splash of milk. Protein is important too, so you can add 1 boiled egg or 2 egg whites to that. Then for snack have either a fruit, a vegetable (preferably something green or orange), or a small protein serving (like a handful of nuts). Then for lunch have another protein serving with vegetables and a small serving of carbs if you like. For example you can make a turkey roll up. Put some turkey slices on a few pieces of lettuce, even a teaspoon of miracle whip, then roll it on up. Have another snack like earlier. Then have a healthy dinner with a good combo of carbs, protein, and vegetables.
So basically cut the carbs some, up the amount of food/fiber/protein you eat and you should start losing weight. I think you aren't supposed to go any lower than 1200 calories a day, more so depending on how heavy you are. A great free website for weight loss is sparkpeople.com.
Bye for now.I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.0 -

1st proper update of the day. Not sat down, and one of the cats has thrown a spanner in the works by disappearing this morning so i have took one to the cattery, and worst case scenario will have to ask the bathroom guy very kindly to shake some food at him once a day. Worse than the blooming kids who keep trashing where i have worked. I am so ready for this holiday. :rotfl:
DIY:- [STRIKE]every room needs access to the radiators for thermostatic valves to be fitted[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]purchase a new bathroom door[/STRIKE]
- purchase a loft ladder and hatch to meet building regulations for boiler going in the loft
- paint kids bedroom radiator, [STRIKE]put radiator back on.[/STRIKE]
- DH added to the list - put reflective foil between 5 radiators. 3/5 ie all upstairs done
Cleaning:- Playroom - [STRIKE]keep tidy, [/STRIKE]clean window and sill
- kids room - [STRIKE]keep tidy[/STRIKE]
- our room - move bed for access to radiator
- bathroom - quick wipe round and take last few bits of toileties out when we leave
- hall/landing/stairs - [STRIKE]make sure they are all clear[/STRIKE] and hoovered before we go.
- living room/dining room - [STRIKE]clear away all toys[/STRIKE], wash windows and clean floor, get rid of ironing pile, [STRIKE]hide ebay mountain in garage[/STRIKE]
- kitchen - [STRIKE]empty pantry for access to gas meter while they are working[/STRIKE], clean fridge and make sure we leave unopened milk and tea/coffee visible. clear both benches off and make sure it is all clean, [STRIKE]clean microwave[/STRIKE], empty off and clean 2 shelves
- [STRIKE]All parcels posted[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]items relisted ending the day we come back[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]MS - solve query on one job before we leave[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]check what stuff i need to buy[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]check what needs washing [/STRIKE]and ironing and do it
- [STRIKE]finish packing[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]remember to take something for fathers day and SILs present for her birthday[/STRIKE]
- take cats to cattery for their hols - [STRIKE]sort food, vaccination certificates, and spend some time grooming fat cat before he goes.[/STRIKE] one more to catch and take.
The more i do the more there seems to need doing, and to make me feel even better, i bet there is some mess in every room to come home to. Oh well, my best will have to be good enough.
Micron sorry to hear you have been ill. Your body telling you no by the sounds of it. Don't rush back into everything too quickly.
wilf your list seems very focussed now. I hope that helps you. It certainly does me. Otherwise i look in a room and think where the heck do i start.
scrooge sounds like your lad will be well trained. I am trying with mine, but yesterday while my sister was here my DS1 and my nephew decided to tidy the playroom while we did my room, and when we next looked they had moved all the toys and piled them on my DS2s bed. The thought was there, but i need to direct it more i think. :eek:0 -
hope you find the cat!
have cut the grass this morning
cut down some bushes
done a pile of weeding..but not much else
going to hang out the washing and wash up
tidy the living room
keep going all
the focused list does help and i can cross off bits of rooms rather than a whole room which give a better satisfaction hit
problem being i do tend to put off the bad jobs and do the nice ones!Save 12k in 2015 member 187. £62.50/60000 -
It's almost the weekend :T:T.
I hope you find the cat cha97michelle, how frustrating .
Clever wee macie, counting the beans. It sounds like you are having a very productive day wilf.
I have been sidetracked by DS. We were cycling home and he decided to take us off the beaten track to do some mountain biking, it was a lot of fun but I overdid it and i'm absolutely cream crackered. Never mind the house, i'm off to lie down for a few hours..........cereal for tea.I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. Morning all,
I have just started on a fat release eating programme, on this website, which is FREE. It's got lots of tracking and charts on it, which I love.
http://www.sparkpeople.com/
So the plan is to continue with level 3 of 'The Shred' and no alcohol, and start 66 straight days of the fat release programme.
At the end of the next 66 days I intend to be at my goal weight, on 1st September 2010.
Plan for the day
I'm planning a lazy morning and then a catch up. Have a great holiday Cha97michelle.
Target 15 items on the 'To Do List'. I'll do a 20 minutes on 20 minutes off challenge.
