Marmite with lentils is a great idea Cha97michelle, thanks.
Well done Wilf, you are making great inroads into that list.
It's the 15th already - time for a mid-month review to keep me on track.
Plan for June
1. Budget
I've prepared a budget, which is quite comfortable, so no excuses for not sticking to it!
Sticking to budget so I don't need to make an excuse yet.
2. Weight Loss
I lost 4lb last month and 9lb since the beginning of March so I am losing an average of 3lb a month. I will continue to stick with my diet and exercise plan and Lou's weight loss challenge. I have set a target of 14lb over the next 10 week challenge or 1.5lb a week. Obviously, if I continue doing things the same way as I am, I will not achieve the goal, so I need to do more exercise. Although I have intermitently done The Shred this month, I have not stuck with the programme, so in June the plan is to give it another wholehearted attempt. I will also aim for 22 AF days again, and I will stick with my daily food diary.
I have lost 3lb so far this month and drank no alcohol. I have done The Shred every day, so this area is on plan.
3. New Business
- Logo completed
- Business cards finalised
- Headed paper finalised
- Licence applied for
- Website finalised
- Full pitch to client 1
- £100.00 of additional income
I got £200.00 of additional income and I have moved all the other areas on slightly, but I need to focus here to get these things finalised by month end
4. Family and Friends
- Meet up with close friends at least once in June.
- Ensure DS and DH get quality time
- Call/e-mail mum and dad regularly in June
- Speak to sisters and cousins at least once in June
I have spent plenty of time with DS DH and local friends, but I have not been in contact with my family. I need to make sure I ring them all this week
5. Flylady
The house has had a deep clean in May so in June I will do the Flylady weekly plan, to keep on top of it.
This area could do with some improvement. I need to become much more efficient with the housework, it still takes up too much time.
6. Nature and Culture
- Trip to the cinema with DS and DH
- Weekly cycle rides with DS and DH
- Read 'The Kite Runner'.
I have had a nice time with DS and DH, we have camped, been to the circus and had a bar-b-que in a country park, and gone on cycle rides. We will go to the cinema at the end of the month with my Tesco Cineworld vouchers.
I have started The Kite Runner, but I am also reading Cider With Rosie, The Alchemist and The Easy Way to Control Alcohol. I am enjoying them all and should finish them all by the end of the month.
7. £10.00 a day challenge
- £100.00 extra from New Business - £200.00
- £150.00 extra from Mystery Shopping - £75.00
- £50.00 extra from BT complaint - £25.00
- £30.00 extra from ebay - £0.00
I've nearly achieved the £10.00 a day target, I will ebay some items at the weekend, which should get me there.
8. Special Project
- 15 hours 5
- TW x 4 0
- BR/DT x 30 2
- MT x 4 0
- PS x 4 0
- TWA x 1 0
This area has been neglected and I will put some effort in here during the last two weeks of the month
Well that's June's plan.......... A mixed bag, but overall heading in the right direction.I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.0 -

Morning all,
We are on the home stretch of 'The Shred' micron, it's downhill all the way to the finish line now, and our beach bodies. Keep focused, you can do it.
Actually, for the first time yesterday, I found it quite manageable, although I still sweated buckets.
No alcohol all month, and i'm not missing it at all, which is great. I need to strengthen my resolve for July and August though as we are spending a lot of time with my family and friends from England and they are all sociable, big wine drinkers, who will think it very odd to have a non drinker amongst them.
There's a lot on that list micron, but I think it feels good just to get it out of the head and on to the screen, then you know what you are facing.
Well done Wilf on getting the grass cut amongst all the other jobs.
Have a great day Cha97michelle.

I hope you had another productive day Wilf. I just need to write everything down and plan each day otherwise I go to pot. You are probably naturally organised.
I have had no car today, so I have walked miles between jobs and the school, but it's been a beautiful sunny day and we live in a lovely area, so it's been very pleasant.
Good bye until tomorrow.I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.0 -

Morning micron et al,
13 hours . You already do two days work in one!
It's amazing that you got 'The Shred' done, Jillian would be proud :A.
I was starting to think that I over exercised yesterday, as I did 'the Shred', a 10 mile walk and a Body Pump, weightlifting class, in the evening! but then I remembered those contestants on Jillian's show. They do five hours of exercise, in some form, every day to get that fat off. There are no rest days.
I want rid of this last stone, it's taken me 18 years of over eating and under exercising to put it on, but i'm going to shed it, like a caterpillar transforming into a butterfly :rotfl:. The massive effort required to get it off, will be a huge insentive to stop me putting it on again. Keep up the great work micron. :T.
Plan for today
I'm at home today as we are getting a new hall/stair and landing carpet fitted, under insurance, as I spilt bleach on the last one.
