[STRIKE]Tackle Flylady Dining Room deep clean[/STRIKE]
Organise for Monday
Nice chilled day today. I have been doing spring cleaning, but at a leisurely pace. DS's room is completely done so is the dining room and living room. DH has deep cleaned the office, the garage and the garden, and we've deposited a van load of stuff to the tip, he has also cleaned all the windows inside and out :A , so I just need to keep the momentum going. The really scary room will be the kitchen, i'll need a whole day in there. We are half way there though.

Jamie Olive Sausage casserole - sweetcorn/kale - 500 calories

[STRIKE]Mixed tropical fruit salad - 150 calories[/STRIKE]
It didn't go to plan today, I did extra hours that were offered at short notice at the account's job today, to try and make up for a budget shortfall. I hadn't taken lunch so I ate 2 breakaways and a packet of low fat crisps - 300 calories. On arriving home I was famished so I ate two rounds of ham and beetroot sandwiches - 500 calories. So I've stuck within calories, but not eaten very well. I'm just about to make the family tea, but I think I'll do them a fry up rather than Jamie Oliver's casserole, as I can't muster any cooking enthusiasm. I'm going to head off to the gym once they are having their tea though and chill in the sauna and jacuzzi.
Busy, busy day at the Account's job. They are talking about me doing extra hours there regularly, but I really need to develop my new clients.
Then I went to the gym and couldn't face the class, so I headed to the sauna, steam room and hydro pool. Did no swimming, and read the Economist and Vogue, that had been left behind. In Vogue there was a story of a stressed mother of two, who decided to up sticks and head off to Bali with her family, to find herself and re-establish her relationship with her kids and husband. It was a good read. Bali sounded idyllic, for a holiday, but the subtext was she'll be back to Britain soon.
Hopefully, she'll find a middle ground and not go back to a miserable marriage in a crime riddled neighbourhood, where she spent most of the day crying.

It's a beautiful day today, so it will be lovely to be out and about around the East Coast. DH is getting a cut of the mystery shopping money, and will be helping me with reports, so he should enjoy his wee self. There is too much on the list, but i'll plod through it, and do what I can, while enjoying the sunshine.
Well things didn't go to plan, I started clearing out the downstairs cupboard and that took longer than I anticipated. I then remembered that the VAT return needed to be sent off today, but although i've completed it I couldn't find it anywhere, which then led me to clean out the massive cupboard in our bedroom which is full of clutter. At the end of it all I had two amazingly clean and organised cupboards but no VAT return, so I ended up registering and filling it in online. So I'm further along on my Flylady, but I have had to re-arrange the mystery shops which don't need to be completed until Monday.

Well DS is off school again, three days this week, for teacher inservice days. DH is looking after him this morning.
Once I drop DH off at work I need to follow through on the above and keep focused, or i'll start getting stressed. If I can catch up today then the rest of the week should be OK and doable. The Shred isn't working in the afternoon slot, so I am going to try and do it first thing in the morning. Off to do it now.
Not too bad today, I got most of what I wanted to do accomplished. I haven't done any mystery shops, but I still have time to catch up with them if I fit a couple around my course tomorrow.
I did the Shred first thing this morning, which worked well. I am an early morning person, so I should really schedule all the things I least want to do into the early slots, or they've got no chance of accomplishment. I'm heading off to my class and the sauna straight after tea too, so plenty of exercise today.

Overscheduled today, but i'll follow the broad structure above and do what I can, i'll go with the flow and enjoy the course and the nice weather.
It has been amazing weather, I had my picnic lunch by the side of an estuary, between a cherry tree in full blossom and a flowering gorse bush, watching little red butterflies, it was perfect.
Well I plodded away today, I managed to pop into a posh charity shop in St. Andrews and got myself a great pair of jeans and a couple of shirts, which all looked brand new and came in at under a tenner, so I was pleased with the haul.
The 7 mystery shops this week will bring in £180.00 which will put me nicely in credit for the month.FlyLady's Detailed Cleaning List - Zone 1: TheKITCHEN: DETAIL CLEANING LIST

My mystery shop today, involves recording the conversation, and it is dependent on the equipment arriving by special delivery, this morning, when I am out. I am hoping it will go straight back to the post office, and I can pick it up there, bit touch and go though, but hey it keeps life interesting. DS will be coming with me and he has been bribed to say nothing.
Update - I have decided to move things around. It's too risky to take DS on a recorded call, so I'm moving that one until tomorrow morning, when i'll pop out and do it before anyone's up.
Another glorious day today, i've just about followed the plan. DS and all the neighbourhood kids have got the water guns and paddling pool/slide out of the garage and are having a riotous time. DS has been through five changes of clothes, just helping himself to a new lot every time he got soaked, and the downstairs is covered in pools of water, from fill-ups. I was going to get stressed, but it cleaned up easily and the clothes have just been dumped in the washing machine. He's now safely in swimming trunks. It's not often we get a scorcher, so i'm glad they are all having a fab time, just wish it was around somebody elses house lol.FlyLady's Detailed Cleaning List - Zone 1: TheKITCHEN: DETAIL CLEANING LIST

Well, I wish that I didn't have so much to do today, as it is perfect beach weather, but needs must, onwards and upwards.
I haven't lost any weight this week, although I have stuck to my calorie count. I haven't been exercising enough, so I commit to doing the Shred 7 times this week  .
I'm tired today, as we got back really late from Iron Man 2, which was surprisingly good (I just love Robert Downey Jnr), then instead of going to bed I had some wine and watched Great British Menu, it was 2.30 am when I went to bed.
Menu Plan
Saturday - Roast lamb and trimmings
Sunday - Fishcakes
Monday - Spaghetti Carbonara
Tuesday - Prawn Stir Fry
Wednesday - Beef casserole and baked potato
Thursday - Minestrone soup
Friday - Pizza
I need to keep the shopping bill to around £30.00 today to stay within budget, but I should be OK as most of the above is in the freezer or store cupboard, so I just need the fresh stuff.FlyLady's Detailed Cleaning List - Zone 1: TheKITCHEN: DETAIL CLEANING LIST

I'm feeling tired and lethargic today, kept awake until 4.00 am this morning by drunken bar-b-que revellers. I didn't complain though, as they are good neighbours and don't let their hair down very often. There will be some very sore heads this morning lol.
I'll just aim for the above this afternoon and re-charge ready for a busy Monday. If I get a bout of enthusiasm i'll have a go at the Shred. I have promised DS a water fight, so that's something to look forward to:eek:.
Well the water fight was fabulous with our super soakers, so i'm feeling energised and 20 years younger. Don't know what the neighbour's made of it though ........FlyLady's Detailed Cleaning List - Zone 1: TheKITCHEN: DETAIL CLEANING LIST

Once again too much to do today, but i'll plod along. These mystery shops have taken up all my Flylady time, but will bring in around £250.00 this month, which was needed. If I can get them all out of the way by Tuesday, then i'll turn my full focus to everything else on the lists, and hopefully have everything done by month end.
Well it kind of went to plan today, except I ended up going over finances with DH this evening and I will put off the typing of Mystery Shop 8 and 9 until tomorrow.
I am going to spend about £1500.00 over the next few weeks on the business, which includes licences, headed paper, business cards and website development. I have decided that the investment is needed, and what I have at the moment is not professional enough. We have savings that would cover this, but I am going to try and pay it off without dipping into the savings, as we both feel much more secure with a savings safety net.

I really need to stick to plan today, as it all needs doing. Time to keep focused. Month end approaching and I want to achieve my goals.
From tomorrow until month end, weight loss and Flylady take priority.
It was a pretty stressful day today, it started off with me not being able to find DS's swimsuit and just got worse. I had to buy him another swim suit and take his lunch to the school as he forgot that too.
I have struggled all day to upload an 11 mb audio recording for a mystery shop on to the computer. I then had to try and convert it from a WMA file into a WVA file and use zip software, it was a total pain.
I missed my appointment with logo lady, and bought myself a big fat juicy Macdonald's meal for comfort. To top it all I trod on DH's headphones and managed to break them . It can only get better .......
