Things to knock off the list today:-

Ebay - for finishing Sunday evening
[STRIKE] 2 items to send out from friend's shop to the USA[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Ink cartridges to Tesco - I have 30[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Two phones to CEX[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE] I'll stop there, but will try and swish and swipe around the house today, to keep it bearably tidy. [/STRIKE]

Great work on the massive debt reduction negotiations wilf, that's great news.

Keep up the good work everyone.

welcome newbies...good luck scrooge is a great motivator..you are in the right place

i have many more debts to negotiate but this was a parking ticket that i didnt have the money to pay at the time....my blue badge was out of date and i hadnt realised! it progressed and i couldnt meet the minimum payments the debt collectors were trying to get off me so it ended with a £40 fine being £360 with bailiff knocking loudly on the door

went back to the original council and she said if i can send proof of my blue badge and payment plan she will reinstate it at the original fine Why couldnt they do this in the first place

non of my others are at the state of the bailiffs but non the less need sorting

1 a day at least is my motto

    so far

paid one off in full £152 to prevent dd3 getting a ccj she is paying me back
    negotiated another down by £280
    will look at another today...

last night i photod loads of stuff for ebay and will list today
have already washed up and put washing on in line with flylady chores
    need to organise prescription
emailed a golf clothing manufacturer with ds1 cv after a productive sounding phone call yesterday so will now wait and see
He is already on the books of a golf club manufacturer getting any clubs he needs for free after similar negotiations over the last 2 - 3 yrs
    at range this eve

    so basically today

    prescription
    flylady
menuplan - good idea about the 4 week rolling plan
    inventory
    banking and finance
    ebay listings
    driving range
    ring one debtor and negotiate

    catch u later

It takes a huge amount of courage to face these things head on wilf, you're an inspiration!

It feels so good though when everything becomes controllable again.

    Thanks wilf, you're doing great.

The trouble with me is that if I feel overwhelmed, I end up doing nothing, and then I start beating myself up, and doing even less.

So I have to pace myself and reward myself and then things get done, and I enjoy the process.

    Here we go again ...........

Well there's only the Lollypop job to do today, so there's time to knock more things of the weekly list than usual, so today I commit to.

    - The two hour house clean ......... aaaah
    - List enough items to make £20.00 on ebay .......aaaah
[STRIKE]- Phone Vista Print and BT to transfer website to new host .......... aaaah - Vista Print open 9.00 am USA time. Amazingly, I have got this done with the help of an extremely helpful technical person at BT, who remotely took over my computer for about 30 minutes. Saves £5.00 a month too. [/STRIKE]
    - Change the beds ........ aaaah
[STRIKE]- Paint my toe and finger nails. [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]- Show insurance company the stain on the carpet and hope they agree to pay up.[/STRIKE] They did!!
[STRIKE]- Find out why there has been a slight increase in the mortgage.[/STRIKE] - Do do with withdrawal from the offset facility early last year - putting money back in next week.
[STRIKE]- Book tickets to go and see 'A Single Man', tomorrow with my film buff friend. YIPPEE.[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]- Book a badminton Court[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Sort out Consumer Credit Licence - Spoke to OFT do not need one at the moment as I'm not dealing with consumers.[/STRIKE]

All the aaaaah's are the jobs that I really don't like doing, so I will have to play some mind games with myself to keep up the motivation.

I missed my Body Pump class yesterday and ended up going to the later Boxing Fitness class. I'm aching all over today, but it was great fun.

It's not long until your weekend away wilf, I hope DS has a good round/s.

Well, I might have got a full list done yesterday; I was in full flow, about to start the house, honest, when I got a call from the school to collect DS.

DS had been accidently kicked hard in the groin, and the school was concerned, because it was in the same area that he had a hernia operation last year, and he was walking like a cowboy. I took the poor wee soul to the doctors, but apart from needing Calpol, there was no damage done, so that was a relief.

    Plan for today:-

After Lollypop and Accounts Job:- (Menu Plan at Accounts Job)

[STRIKE]2 hour house clean that didn't get done yesterday[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Change the beds[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Weekly shop at Tesco - £50.00 max and use vouchers to get points - and take till slips to be added[/STRIKE] (Overspent - £78.00 - on some treats - need to re-jig budget)
[STRIKE] Take DS to play badminton if he feels up to it
Go to cinema in the evening with friend to see 'A Single Man'.
    [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE] Avoid being tempted to buy in the extra 25% off M&S sale, having browsed I am staying strong so far, as I do not NEED anything there.[/STRIKE]

So DS is staying in the Marriot while you are staying in a cheap B&B, LOL!!

When he's rich (he's already famous), i'm sure he'll treat you to five star luxury.

What a fantastic ebay effort, it sounds like you have had a really productive week. I hope you enjoy your weekend and that the B&B doesn't live down to your expectations x.
