Wow, that is fantastic news about DS. Well done. You'll get the money together, keep focused and plugging away. You are a very resourceful lady.

I occasionally look after my friends two year old daughter and it's absolutely, utterly exhausting, so I can empathise.

She's a gorgeous little girl, but the tantrums she throws have to be seen to be believed.

I'd love to see them wilf, but I can only see code. Is there another way I can access them?

The sacrifice will be worth it. You'll have no regrets, no what if's, because you'll know you have given it your best shot.

He looks so focused and determined (handsome too!).

  • Hi Gang,

Scrooge, thanks for the encouragement, I'm afraid the burst of activity doesnt last long. I've been buying and eating more white flour products to fill up the students that are staying at the moment and I think it just sends me to sleep. Must try to keep off the bread and pasta. Even though I will never be able to do all the stuff you do in one day I will keep coming back to this thread for inspiration!!

Wilf, lovely photos of your lad. How/when did he first get interested in golf?

Tax and VAT are becoming complicated. Tax man says he owes us £5K! Quite sure this wrong but gosh how I hope it isn't. Not going to phone about it, just waiting for next letter to say 'No we dont!'

    convert Tesco vouchers for eurotunnel
get paperwork for small claims court
fill in son's new passport number on flight booking
pay elec and gas bill for old house
check direct debits all up and running
put savings in higher interest earning account
investigate ISA options or is it too late?
    cancel talktalk 13th april
need to send postcards to students

    hope to check in tomorrow
