- Save in my sealed tin, putting in something at least every other day...
- Keep plugging away at the free scratchcards...every little helps...
- Get rid of CC by end of 2009...
- Get loan under £7500 by end of 2009...

well my unwanted toys are now rehomed and I can see my floor again. I just need to get on with the ebaying and make some money.
I have just joined yet another challenge but I really hope I can keep up with it, its the PAD one and this would really help with my debts.
I may even try and start a spending diary too.0 -
Have now sorted my paperwork pile and shreded about 80% of it, all stuff no longer needed like defunct CC bills etc.... and even found a few things I haven't seen for ages, like the cover notes for the car and house insurances.... and the tv license! That arrived in aboout Feb last year, so that shows how long its been since I sorted that lot out! Filled a years worth of payslips that had just been chucked in the corner:eek: I think another long term challenge for me is to keep my filing up-to-date!
Tired now, but the police are around in the helicopter (virtually on top of my house, or so it sounds!) so no point trying to get to sleep until they've moved on.... hope they catch whoever it is!
So, jobs for tomorrow are as follows:
*Take down Chrsitmas tree/decs, and sort everything out for OH to put in the loft asap
*Find somewhere for the old pc to live - I have an idea as to where I want to put it, but have to have another little jiggle around first
*Dismantle old pc table and put outside ready to take to the tip in the week.
*Put away all clean laundry - damn pile is growing again!
*Resurect the washing line.... No doubt I could get some stuff half dry and TD it for only a few mins instead of the 80+ mins I'm doing at the minute:eek:
*Go food shopping, and shopping for DS bits in Mothercare (giftcard from Grandad at Christmas, and they are making me nervous, so I will spend them!)
*PAD
*Check eBay items
*Find my hand cream - goodness knows where that has gone!
*Start reading my BookCrossing book.... never heard of it until I found it at work today
Think thats it.... do also have £50 to spend in Argos (also Christmas prezzies) so will grab a catalogue tomorrow and see what's what.'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0 -

Hi everyone
Not been too proactive over the past couple of days. Too many distractions!
However, I have managed to keep up with my questions on AQA which is brilliant as I usually let them slide so I am on target with that and have £60 to put towards my rent next month. By the end of today I will have £90.
Also, I bought all my food for my lunches at work next week. I spent £6.12 but got enough crisps for a couple of weeks and got enough sandwich filling for at least 8 days so that will take me into next week too.
The only thing that I forgot to buy was mayo and I might have to get something else to drink before the week is out too.
I've got £15.74 in my purse so want to make that last until next weekend at least. I might need to put some more petrol in before then but will only put a fiver in. If I get desperate, I've got £3 worth of Pinecone vouchers to use. My mum usually feeds me in the evenings with my main meal so hopefully I can avoid buying any frozen. I've only got a few fishfingers, chips and a cottage pie in the freezer.
Speaking of which I better get ready to go to my mums for Sunday lunch
