oooh - how proud am I?!! I have continued with no.3 - decluttering the house, and I've cleared out a cupboard - one bin bag of rubbish and FOUR, yes 4!!, bin bags of stuff for the charity shop later, and it's much better - still a little full, but better!

I love it! When I accidentally tidied those cupboards, I was *so* pleased. And I have a bloke coming round tomorrow for some stuff I put on freecycle this afternoon!

I've been reading MSE for a few months but only started posting recently. Joined my first challenge, £10 a day for January, but I've just gone for £5 for the first month, hope to do £10 in February.

I've already started to do things the MSE way, joined Quidco, got cheaper home and car insurance and got cashback. I've started doing daily scratchcards and clickthroughs. Today I have written my first Dooyoo reviews so very pleased with that.

For my main challenge for 2009 I want to make enough to pay for all birthday and Christmas presents in 2009. My plan is every month I will try to make £10 a day (after January) If I succeed I will save £50, if I don't make £50 I will save what I can and roll the outstanding balance to the following month. So I should have £600 for presents. Fingers crossed, I have saved/made just ove £100 this month already so I will start my saving account this month.

Don't know if I should aim a bit higher, £600 for Christmas is great but with lots of family to get birthday presents for I might not have a lot left by December? Any suggestions welcome.

Hi Sea - thats exactly it, very freeing!

mumps - surveys, for one, to get vouchers for amazon or whatever. Bingoport - check out the site, it gives you 200 points per post, you get to 8000 and you have a £5 amazon voucher. It adds up. Check out the boost your income article from Martin, and the Up Your Income board on here.

    Good luck.

Thanks Karmacat, I am really starting to enjoy this. The first few months I was just reading and taking it all in but now I am really feeling I am getting somewhere. I will have a look at surveys and bingoport, thanks for the tips.

Chances are they won't miss anything of theirs that you sent anyway.... luckily with DS only being young, as long as I don't get rid of anything Noddy, I'm fine... in fact, I could probably make a game of putting stuff into the bags with him :D
